There is very little change in elevation but there are tons of buildings in the way, so I don't know if it will work as not really LoS. May have to have a rethink.

I have just found out (by accident) that over Easter the upstream bgfl WSUS server was switched off. Did anyone receive a notification from them about this? If anyone uses wsus.bgfl.eu as their updates source, they need to switch it back to Microsoft Update.

We have that issue here. Advice from the LA was to disable fast user switching which has been done via GP, the staff do moan but hey.. safeguarding.

Hi, Has anyone ever experienced an esxi host randomly and spontaneously changing it's subnet? Came into work this morning and the HA cluster was broken with one of the three hosts offlline. vMotion had failed and the host was unreachable. The VM's and the network services they support were still up and running and no downtime was experienced as the host was running over the failover NIC. The host was also manageable from the failover IP. Turns out the subnet on the primary NIC had been changed randomly to 255.255.255.0 (should be 255.255.252.0). I manually moved the guests to the other hosts, reset the correct subnet, rebooted the host and reconfigured the HA cluster and all is back online. Anyone seen this before or have any ideas how this could have happened? Thanks in advance.

Yes we have many Stone NT310's. Some are exhibiting this exact issue. In some cases it causes damage to the power regulation which lives on a little separate PCB and the flexing of the case when the hinge comes loose cracks this PCB. It also rips the little brass lugs out of the plastics. We have a few that have been total right-off's due to this. Sometimes we get a warranty claim, sometimes not...

I have had this in the past - had a helluva time convincing Link that there was an issue though.

We have one of these. Was organised by the geography department years ago. A fella from the uni came out to install it on a lamppost. (I had to create a whole SSID just for this thing as it only supports 'B' wireless networks.) Didn't have to fill in that change request though as it was already arranged apparently.
