6 weeks here. I've got at least 10 days booked off for a holiday, so it isn't too bad for me. :)

Not got a huge amount to get done in terms of projects, but it means I'll have a good chance to get some of the annoying things that need to get done finished.

I've got every Monday and Tuesday off, I don't usually have plans to go anywhere so long weekends and short weeks is great. It does make the first week or two back a pain to readjust but it's worth it.

We are also full time 52 weeks a year.

I have a new apprentice starting Monday, that I will be with for a week, then I have 2 weeks off, I have kinda forced my other techie/senior apprentice to have 2 weeks off. He is worse than I for keep on working until the job is done.

Last day today, I'm taking my team to the pub at lunchtime. Two of us are in some of the holidays with server/wireless/projector/ICT Suite installs.

Cannot wait for the staff to leave!

@Dkeen94

Although you are contracted to be in the whole summer, it is really important to schedule in a break. It will truly help (says the person that until this year is guilty for never taking enough time off)

It's our sports day and I've managed to rig four large speakers up down on the astro turf, so if you're wondering what that noise is, it's probably us blasting out crimes against music at ridiculous volume.

@BKGarry

Dont worry Garry i will be taking some time off! I am yet to decide when that will be but i will be relaxing for some of the holidays. Luckily there aren't any large projects planned this year so it will be a summer of catching up on odd jobs.

I am just like you! I always work through the half terms and breaks to get things sorted, always results in me never having enough time off. I have promised myself that i will make full use of my Annual leave this year :)

If you don't, I am getting on a train and coming to find you

52 wks here, school finishes today for 7 weeks so a nice empty school, then I've got the first week of term off to go to Somerset, so 8 weeks without any students ... Bliss. :)

just 6 more hours till the busiest time of the year starts

The amount of conversation starting with "why didn't you ask for this sooner" being finished with the line "because they only just told us" would be amusing if it wasn't my manager having them.

Man I'm glad I booked my time off in advance >.<
