About halbaradkenafin

  1. RM have technical experts?
  2. Just a warning that even if you manage to disable access to powershell.exe and powershell_ise.exe it won't stop people running other consoles that use the powershell engine, such as conemu. Having said that you're likely looking at something with GPO, probably best to blacklist the exe by filehash. There is an option under computer -> security I think, don't have access to a machine with GPO right now so can't give the exact path.
  3. Anything South of middlesborough is the south to me. People in Yorkshire don't seem to appreciate this opinion the few times I've mentioned it since moving here from Newcastle.
  4. I think my alt is, I moved my main to a low sec pvp Corp for a bit. Then got bored/busy again and unsubbed.
  5. I only borrowed some isk, everything else should be where it was in the hangars, I think I left enough to pay the bills for a few months (as it wasn't much for those). I've got my main doing his usual combat skills still (almost at minmatar bs5 I believe) and my alt was still working on better skills for the orca.
  6. I may have borrowed some isk from the Corp when I last resubbed but I can pay that back whenever. I'd be interested in joining up with people again, I'm only really free on weekends though.
  7. Great film and I watch it every Nov 5th. Rewatched H2G2 film, not as good as the series but Zooey Deschannel makes any film worth watching.
  8. Powershell step by step, I haven't heard of the second one but will check out the same MS have on their site, might be useful (and I definitely need to check out Lee Holmes' book now that I think about it).
  9. I'll second (third?) Powershell in a month of lunches, I'd suggest the second edition as it covers v3 and a lot of new stuff was in that compared to v2 (lots of new stuff in v4 and v5 as well). Ed Wilson's book is also recommended but I can't remember the title as I haven't read it. Pluralsight videos are very good, there are also various videos on YouTube from the powershell summits (and PSConfEU this year) which are more focused on single topics but can be pretty interesting. My biggest advice to anyone wanting to learn more powershell is to just dive in and try things, if you find yourself doing something more than once (or its a bit complicated) then spend 5 to 10 mins on Google seeing if someone else has done it with powershell or something similar and write script. Then set up a github account and make sure you store your scripts there, they should hopefully be generalised enough using parameters that you don't need to remove anything school specific, anytime you make a change you just push it up to github and you've got a back up of them and a history and it's much easier to share them. Also consider joining the Powershell Slack team (like IRC but cooler with lots of nice features) at slack.poshcode.org. We've got a good community there with a lot of people around willing to help with any problems at pretty much any time of day. Edit: also people feel free to PM me if you need help with scripts or powershell problems, I spend more hours than I care to think about in one or powershell windows and talking about it with a variety of people. I'm always willing to help and if I can't then I can probably find someone who can.
  10. I recently renamed my hotspot on my phone to "a Linksys to the past" for the zelda reference. I'm considering renaming my home one as well to something else but not sure what yet, it's currently Goblin City in honour of Bowie.
  11. Just watched captain America. Pretty good film and I'm not sure which side I would have chosen given a similar choice.
  12. Spotify have a Star Wars playlist for today and the following for the progress bar: https://i.imgur.com/KXKDozV.png
  13. Who says you only have to slay the evil dragons? I may have made a terrible mistake if that's the case, but I am selling some lovely dragonscale items in a variety of metallic colours if anyone is interested.
  14. Hopefully sooner than last time. If it hits US Netflixs earlier then a VPN should get you access to it. I'm sure there are also less reputable means to view such content too.
  15. Apt-get as well. It's pretty much aimed right at devs and trying to push the "you can dev pretty much anything on a win 10 machine" angle.
