I'm running the latest version of ivms and reached the camera limit on iVMS. Even if i delete devices/channels, and then try to add another recorder with 1 channel (after deleting a previous recorder with 6 channels) i still get the same message saying no more cameras can be added. Any solution to this, other than reinstalling and adding everything from scratch again? thanks.

With wanting to remove roaming profiles to speed up logins, what does everyone use for end users when logging onto multiple machines to allow users to still see/keep their office recent documents list, pin folders to explorer which will travel with them across all computers they login to, etc. Don't particularly want to just use local profiles as means their setup doesnt say consistent, then if they log in elsewhere things will not be the same. thanks

Nothing shows in intune because when the machine is imaged how would it know what tenant to try and attach to if no credentials have been entered?

The machine doesnt get as far as the login screen. Not sure how it would even contact autopilot/intune as we use proxy server to connect to the internet and the device wouldnt be in InTune.

Hi. Does anyone know how to bypass/skip the registering your device for mobile management when using sccm? Everything was working fine but now the process won't complete at it fails on this screen. It does the securing and joining to AD find but then the rest just fails. In SCCM the agent is yet to NO for automatically enroll. We're not using Intune or MDM so just want it to continue working locally for now? Anyone else had this and why its just suddenly happened? I'm assuming when the device checks for updates its pulling something down to do this. thanks

I have one GPO Policy which i havent edited in a long time. I can edit it and change settings, however when i view the report or settings, i get An error occurred while generating report: An unknown error occurred while the HTML report was being created. I've tried the GPO IE change from 1 to 0 but hasn't resolved the issue. What is the next steps to try and find what is causing the issue within the policy? thanks

I am setting up a new domain and tenant and want to use the edge auto profile sign in as currently do on existing domains. If i open edge and manually sign in with 365 email address and password it sets up the profile and shows syn is active. However, with the gpo's enabled it shows a profile but only shows the user as DOMAIN\username for the local domain. The user in AD has it's full 365 External UPN shown. Anyone guide me with the steps taken to get this working again for the new domain? thanks

Just wondered what the go to tools are these days for moving users between AD Forests? I believe ADMT is no longer supported for 2022/2025 AD, so looking for an alternative. This is for migrating users from 4 separate forests into a new AD forest remaining SIDs etc. Forest trust is already in place and working. thanks

Hi We have several sites within our Trust all connected via 1GB leased lines. One of our more remote sites connects via TTB then into the network. We get full 1GB throughput/download from the internet, however to/from the one site when we transfer files via SMB/UNC path we get dismal speeds of 50mb/s and inconsistent. If i run iperf, I get the same result. However if i transfer via SFTP i can get the full throughput. To that particular site the ping response time is 24ms, however between all our other sites they are 1ms. I'm told this is expected as is a case of Long Fat network. Does anyone else have a MAT where they don't see the full throughput to/from sites that have slightly higher latency? thanks in advance.

Looking to do some 10GB upgrades and know i'll have to probably look for markings on fibre as to OM but be good to find the lengths out at the same time. thanks in advance.

Hi. I'm looking for contacts who have migrated/consolidated their 365 Tenants into a new tenant. Microsoft are denying me education verification on a new tenant because our sites/organisation already have a tenant. Seems to be impossible to get a straight forward answer, so wondering how other schools/trusts have managed to setup a new 365 tenant and carry out the migrations? Any help/advice would be appreciated. thanks.

The spalding link is myself. Since having every single outage ,however small flag up on my monitoring , and getting a ' we found no issues ' I now work with them at a technical level testing. I know its down even before they do! They have shut down the telehouse connection. We had 1 site out of 4 working one routed via derby the rest telehouse.

we change the boards etc to 1080P 30hz. Yet at home I have a 10m hdmi from PC to TV and never have any issues! albeit a 40 inch tv

Most cables are 5m to get from machine to projector, odd thing is that when they are installed by supplier they use a laptop test it briefly to setup and then say its our computers that are the issue as was working fine for them.

Does anyone else have HDMI issues/quirks with interactive panels / projectors? we seem to always have problems with the external devices not picking up the displays, or intermittently flickering the displays/losing connection. We've tried several Display port to HDMI adapters as desktops don't have HDMI onboard, and even with graphics cards sometimes Extended display works ok, but as soon as try and duplicate , we get the black/blank screen on and off or just isn't stable.

I've discovered its a known bug with Trellix DLP If the plugin is removed from the folder, acrobat works fine!

I think it all started from this error below. Clean install of acrobat reader on all machines. as soon you open reader give it a few seconds and the error below appear. solution was to rename the plugins folder, (not sure why there would be an issue on a clean install) and thats now when adobe is sporadic at opening.

Over the summer we updated to Windows 11 24h2 and deployed the latest version of acrobat reader via GPO Since everyone came back we are experiencing issues with acrobat reader - not launching at all - sometimes launching for the first file, then not launching again - opening the program shortcut several times before i eventually loads. On each load acrobat appears in task manager then crashes out with the below. I thought it was AntiVirus causing the issue, but whether its installed or not, we still get the same inconsistencies above Wondered if anyone else has seen/had this? Hi We have re-imaged over 600 PCs using MDT with task sequence to install windows and apply updates. Of the 600+ machines, on a vulnerability report, 376 have picked up Microsoft Windows App Installer Spoofing Vulnerability for August 2024 I'm aware that 24H2 was released after august and with the update not being an MSI or EXE to be able to deploy, why or how can i resolve this on all machines in bulk or why does it exist in a new release.? As all machines have been imaged from same task, not sure why its not showing for ALL machines and only some. thanks
