well so far in forza horizons 4 ive found references to

postman pat

life on mars

top gear

halo (not exactly hidden)

harry potter

ive finished the training section and am now in the game proper but i think ive got to the point where its all just mindless repetition so i doubt i will be playing it much longer same as with 3 its fun for a few days but theres not much there to keep you coming back after a certain point unless you really want that specific hat

I'm enjoying FH4 a lot. I'm still making my way through the seasons (I just got to Spring before stopping for the night) and I just started driving around Edinburgh last night. One thing that is a little annoying is that because there's only one Festival location at the moment, you can't fast travel from place to place unless you start buying player houses, and they appear to cost a pretty penny... I've only seen Edinburgh Castle as a player house on that side of the map so far, and it's 15m credits! I never manage to save that much in these games!

found a bunch of references in it now basically do any of the laracer story mode missions and they are really in your face and boy do the devs like sega racing games lol

got most of my levels up to 10 on races (bar drag and drift which tbh dont really care about) and got lots of rare achievements. got the one for driving every road that took some time to get. Lots of teh breakable boards i cant see how to get so ive given up on that idea. Boy are the trams fast i clocked one doing about 70 down the high street lol.

still not using/bought many cars mains are rs200/r34 skyline/focus rs/some bright green jeep thing because i needed an offroad thing at it was free

getting fed up of some of the useless crud on prize wheels i dont really want / need horns/cosmetics that said i do have the win xp shutdown sound as my horn and my avatar is wearing a mini skirt and rubber duck wellies because why not

So I was brought, for my birthday last week, Ni No Kuni 2.

I have only ever seen my friend play 1, over this weekend I clocked up 12 hours, kind of enjoying it, although the battling is very repetitive, and I have mixed feelings with the top down battle modes as well.

I enjoyed the first, but never completed the post-main story bits as there seemed to be a huge ramp up in difficulty and I couldn't be bothered to grind.

finally finished up all 89 community members and associated side quests in torna dlc. the last one i did this morning just needed to find and talk to an npc but beyond their name (id looked at names lists and knew who i was missing) had no idea where they were so i just aimlessly wandered around the game world till i found them lol. The penultimate one was a bit of a pain you have to kill 4 "superbosses" and the last one is level 100 (your level cap is 99 and i havnt reached it) so grind up to low 90s and tried it luckily this boss calls on others to help that are easy enough to kill (but do take chunks/all of your party bar away so no revives if you die) and give decent exp so after several attempts i finally kill that (and accidentally i was after one of its minions and diddnt realise it was dead lol) and for that you get a community complete screen and a "cast" photo lol

downloaded child of light for my switch to play enjoyed it a lot on xbox 1 when it was a games with gold game to the point i kind of felt crummy for not paying for it so will replay that soon as ive pretty much given up on forza horizons 4 i might drop back in during the winter season to see if i an get the last few barn finds im missing for the achievement but i think im basically done with the game

I'm loving red dead so far however it really isn't the drop in drop out game so you need a long session to get the most out of it which I don't have the time for at the moment however when I have been playing it my god it's stunning on an X and a 4K TV.

Also paying spiderman when I only have limited time and that is so fun swinging around!

Apologies for there not being much time left on this - but the current PSN Humble Bundle is available for UK PSN account (all for the PS4).

There's just over a day left on it, but for your money you'll get:

Lock's Quest

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams Directors Cut

This is the Police

The Dwarves

Red Faction 2

Black Mirror

Destroy all Humans 2

Titan Quest

Darksiders: Warmastered Edition

Sine Mora EX

Battle Chasers Nightwar

and 2$ credit if you already subscribe.

There's a few games in there certainly worth the donation on their own - let alone as a bundle.

Just finished Dead Island on the PS3. Generally enjoyed it, though was a bit disturbed by the way that virtually all the women in it seemed to be in very few clothes and annoyed that the cutscenes and some dialogue assumed that you were playing in a full party.

I spent basically every waking moment this weekend playing Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu, and it was awesome! I'm well and truly hooked, just like I was with Pokémon Yellow around 20 years ago...

ditto but with the eevee version

its not a hard game my (currently officer) Stevee has a fire a water and a electric move that are 100% accurate do burn/heals me/paralysis every use and 90 damage so i can basically stomp on most things as normal types are not that weak to most things lol

i did dump about 30 Pokemon in from go on my phone to ramp up my pokedex completion but ive since found a lot of them (mainly water types as there is no fishing rod you jsut find them when you can "surf".

Currently going down what was cycling road leveling up my Lapras and just ice beaming everything to death lol

if anyone wants to trade to get trade only mon let me know

I've found that too.. The game is incredibly easy with an Eevee with multiple elemental attacks. I'm using the Fire, Electric, Dark and Water moves and little Yeet* stomps basically everything.

I think my second playthrough may be Eevee-less (or at least, starter-eevee-less)

* I was going to call the Eevee 'Kratos', since thanks to not being translated it keeps shouting BOY!?, but it turned out I got a female one, so it got called Yeet, as that's the other noise it makes when it leaps into battle.

Pikachu's probably not as easy as that when you have all bases covered with an Eevee, but it's still not been too difficult. I just made it down the old cycling route and managed to evolve my Wartortle and Charmeleon en route, and I already have Venusaur, so I've got the type advantage on most trainers one way or another. I did get stomped by Blue in the Silph Co. tower on the first run, though... I beat him the second time around once I knew what I was dealing with. This prompted me to do a little bit of training before I tackle Saffron City!

I've not bothered linking my Go account, I've been enjoying finding them in the world again. It's by far my favourite new thing, to see them wandering the world.
