Thank you for the help, it worked! No idea how it defaulted to Dreamweaver!

We have a member of staff that when viewing linked documents the document opens in Dreamweaver instead of word. It seems the File Associations & Extensions have messed up on their computer. Any ideas on how to re-set this ?

Sorry for hijacking your thread, but we have looked at this but we need to run it only allowing the students to use the software using headphones. The head of SEN wants the software on all the student computers around our academy. Obviously this could be a big problem as although it's a nice idea for the SEN students having access to using the software with headphones, there could be an obvious problem of students just highlighting any page and we would have a class of noise!! Is there a way of muting the internal sound on the computers running ClaroRead or is the idea we suggested of just installing it on the SEN students laptops a more obvious way round?

We did this to block Google snake. I had a feeling we may have to do this. Thank you.

We tried this, but it seems to have different URL's for each music artist.

Has anyone managed to block students listening to Amazon Music previews on the Amazon websites on the Palo Alto. Students are blocked from signing in and purchasing music or downloading tracks but they still can listen to the 30 second explicit previews, which can be a problem in a classroom! Any Ideas?

I had a Kemper for about two years, excellent piece of kit. And then I sold it as I wasn't playing live and was using Cubase with plugins on my home studio setup. My friend was selling a Blackstar 60-HT so I bought that off him with the view of starting a band as I've not played in one for about 7 years due to kids! I wished I'd kept the Kemper as recently my old Thrash metal band from 30 years ago have reformed and after a few rehearsals trying to lift the Blackstar which is a ton weight I regret selling it! I've picked one up for the sake of my back!!

Fingers crossed it hasn't happened to my 2017 13" Macbook pro yet, I've got used to the butterfly keyboard design. Bit of a shock at first I do prefer the old style keys that were on my old 2011" macbook pro.

I have a very excited 7 year old son now, he has been asking me every day when this would be on the switch since watching You tube video's of Stampy playing the game on the Wiiu! It looks brilliant !

No problem, its just a bit of a pain as we have had a few students just being idiots!

They are uploading images to customize the homepage background. Or just selecting the Chrome backgrounds.

We have added the group policy to the GPO, we are trying to figure out which option works! Is the any particular to disable the 'Customize this page' option on the browser on Google chrome?

We recently have allowed students to use Google Chrome, up to now we have only be using IE. Problem we are having is that students are changing the Homepage background with inappropriate images. Is there a way to stop the students selecting settings and doing this. Can this be done in GPO?

Sorry just checked this on internet explorer and it works, the students use google chrome most the time here. Is there a way to block it on chrome?

Hi, we have tried this in the advanced policies creating a policy named Block Snake but the game still works. We ticked the website html block option, is there anything else we need to do ?

It's a big problem for us when Supply teachers are in a computer room, we have to report this to the Cover Supervisor and we start issuing Warnings. I've tried to block this in Palo Alto with no luck, so at the moment we are using Impero to block it as a Keyword. This is annoying as students use various ways of spelling Play Snake. You can Imagine how many ways there are !!!

Our P.E. Dept have iPads which are on our secure wifi, they are using their Staff logins but can't access Youtube. We have this blocked on our PaloAlto firewall and this is set so that staff can access it. They can get to the video pages but as soon as you try and play the video it just keeps trying to load it. We have this problem with all mobile devices using the secure wifi. Anyone have any ideas on how we can allow youtube on the secure wifi.

Still here and officially we work on the 24th....I've taken the day off.

We have recently bought Kanex usb wired mac keyboards for our music suite. Problem we have noticed is that there is a power button on the keyboard, so obviously students are pressing this and turning off the iMacs off! Is there any way of disabling this button ?
