We've had no end of fun with SMHW, latest problem a new member of staff not having an MIS id. A few weeks ago year 7 students with duplicate names causing conflicts. Also we have been left with running this as a senior member of staff has left and we have no idea how they managed it!

Due to legal red tape and language reason, you can't share this list. Obviously you can create one, but as this had 3,000 terms I wasn't looking forward to creating one!

I've had a 38mm series 1 watch since last Monday, I've realised after a few days that I should have bought a 42mm. Went to my local Apple store but was told that I couldn't exchange the watch for a bigger version as even though it is within the 14 day return period I couldn't do it as I had bought the watch on Finance. Seems I would need to send it back, cancel my finance and then re order the watch! A bit annoying as I had I.D. and the receipt and personal letters sent to the address on my order! I've decided that this is too much hassle!! Still 50/50 on keeping the watch. It has it's uses in a school with the ability to have notifications sent to the watch as we have a no mobile phone policy with students. I've a few days to think about this!

It's excellent, especially with the new E-Safety reports. We have been using it for years here, only long term problem we have is that we will be switching to Impero as we are part of an Academy set up. All the other Academies use Impero so we will have to install it, which is annoying as we like using Lanschool!

Fixed, no idea why it works now but Lenovo are looking into the problem. They've logged our details and hopefully it was only a minor glitch in the software.

We have recently been testing the latest version of Lanschool, but we have seem to have found a bug. When we send ctrl-alt-del it doesn't release the screen. We get the pop up for Show Screen Settings, click on stop and it kicks you off the screen you are viewing (Screenshot below). We have contacted our supplier and they are in touch with Lenovo. Has anyone managed to block games that students can play on Google. We have noticed students playing Pacman e.t.c. Is it possible to block them on a Palo Alto firewall ?

Streaming video is blocked for the students but the teachers will be able to show the game on their desktop computers projected onto our promethean boards. Also setting up a projector and screen in the sports hall.

Found out the problem, Html editor works in Google chrome but not in IE11. At least it works now!

Had a look and for some reason we cant see Plugins !

The Moodle HTML editor has suddenly disappeared from our hosted version. We are using version 1.9, updating to a newer version isn't an option at the moment. The last deputy network manager set this up and didn't leave any documentation on how to fix this.

Since migrating to Office 365 we have had a problem with OS Ticket. We use this for the site team receiving email. Is there a setting in OS ticket that we have to change to allow SMTP ? [ATTACH=CONFIG]36729[/ATTACH]

A member of staff wants to delete the date created in a comment in a powerpoint . Anyone have any ideas on how to delete this ? They don't want to create another comment as they are a lot of PPT assignments to change.

Just Teachers and KS5. It was a big problem with students watching restricted videos using accounts that they had created at home.

Thank you both for the advice, we've deleted and created a new profile for the student. All working now Looks like it was a corrupt profile .

When one of our students tries to run 2D Design it keeps crashing, the error this program has stopped. It's a puzzle as the student logs into any computer in our school and every time it stops working, any other pupil logs on to the same machine and the program runs perfectly. They can run any other program with no issues at all. Anyone have any ideas ?
