ive not lost a single fight yet lol

i got charmader, squirtle, bulbasaur and pikachu evolved up but ive ditched charizard as he dosent seem able to hit anything so i swapped him for arcanine, swapped out blastoise for lapras (my favourite mon), venausaurs still in the party but barely used, raichu gets used on water types but again thunder has shockingly bad accuracy so i might swap him out and to deal with fighting types ive got a pidgeott lol. atm i really just need something that can deal with poison stuff like muk better venasaur can but dosent do any damage so im just tanking with stevee or lapras. im actually trying to remember which badge ive missed ive got 5 and iirc only ones left are giovardi and the one on the islands

Finally got around to finishing Secret of Mana (again!). I waited a bit as I wanted to be sure it was patched. I really liked the inn interactions they've added in, and the core of the game is still the one I loved as a young'un.

Such memory. Much fun.

I hadn't, until that point! Charizard is awesome but he seems to be weak in situations where I need him, so I've also got a Rapidash in the party who fits the bill, but Arcanine is a good shout... Perhaps I should work on getting one. Pidgeot is my favourite non-legendary bird, but he doesn't get used very often, and I thought I might need him for Fly, but apparently not!

I've got a minimal amount of water type Pokemon, but I've only just learned Surf. I miss having the fishing rods!

Spent the weekend at my missus's so couldn't play pokemon non-stop.... still managed to get 18 Hours play time in though.... (i wake up at 7:30 she wakes up at 10:30, 3 hours of uninterrupted gaming).

Got to the elite 4 yesterday decided just to go in quickly see how far i get (with 3 revives and like 5 pots), managed to get to the second from last pokemon on the last guy! Seeing as i went in to face him with 3 pokemon on half health!

Just annoyed i didn't take any heals, i'll get it tonight first time fo sho!

ive not found surf yet had it used against me a few times though. i did find fly but there are no hms your partner just learns the equivalent of cut/fly etc and in the case of surf my eevee was surfing round lol. at least in eevee there isnt i dont think a way to catch growlithe/arcanine there is a person near the pokemon fan club that will give you one if you have 5 meowths. its also slightly odd you can trade ratatta for a ratta etc in a few places and get their alolan forms

I've caught millions of Growlithe, but only around Vermillion City, so I'll hopefully be able to find a place to catch one at a decent starting level. I think I may have seen one or two on the old cycle route. And yep, I have an Alolan Diglett.

ive been playing without using eevee and tbh i find it more enjoyable. Main problem is my team only consists of 3 mons im using and none can deal with grass types and that the next gym XD was planning on catching a doduo so hoping that lavender tower is the same and i get the pokeflute after doing the tower so i can get my doduo

Last games that I actually completed was batman: Arham City and Shadows of Mordor.

I think its because they run the same fight system?

Still playing Call of Duty most nigts though. Always seems to be my goto game. Does anyone else seem to start a game, get only 70% of the way through?

well i found the gym i was missing and boy is Sabrina's gym trippy now lol

got to the islands and i now have 2 of the 3 legendary birds (articuno and zapdos) word of warning the electric plant you might want a rock type as the trained in there all but wiped me out i was down to just venasaur

tip when trying to capture legendaries do it in handheld mode its a lot easier as you can aim properly rather than just hoping the motion controls pick it up right lol

Just a random one, Valve have just stopped supplying the steam link hardware. Has any one had any experience with the android app they are replacing it with?

Couple of quick questions:

RDR2 - do you have to have played RDR first?

Fallout '76 - do you have to have played t'others first, is it purely online/shared world or there a campaign mode for people with little time like me, plus - worth an extra tenner in a bundle?

RDR2 is a complete prequel to the first so you'd get away without knowing anything about the first's story. As someone who bought it on launch and approaching a month later am still playing it daily having only just finished the story, I can't recommend the game enough if it's up your alley.

Fallout 76 is independent like all the other games. Pretty much all of the story you have to look around for notes and holotapes so quite different from the other games but personally im enjoying it. It is also purely online on servers but can be played solo fine. Me and @bushby are going to start multiplayer next friday on PC.

Is it just you + NPCs or are you constantly hassled by 7 year olds who are much better at it than you are?

Ive only encountered hepful nice people. Seems to be a good community on there. PVP is pretty good as you dont do full damage unless the other player attacks back so you can just ignore people if you wish. NPC are around but the only living humans are the players themselves.

At events people tend to swarm and help but usually everyone minds there own business unless someone asks for help.

Thanks. By the time I get around to it things may have changed for the worse, though.

So probably not FO76. Just need to decide if PS4 Pro prices will be better in January...

well finished (probably as much as im going to) Pokemon lets go. i beat the elite 4 redid all the gyms and have a pokedex of about 115 or so. tried capturing mewtoo once but it was straight after the elite 4 and iirc my highest level was ~63 and my team isnt set up to deal with psychics so i ran out of time. since then ive put a dark move on Stevee and ground up to level 66 ish but just wasnt that interested.

moved on to playing xenoblade chronicles x oh boy the menus the over abundance of badly (if at all) explained menus(and for some reason you can have different clothes on each arm and i never seem to find anything for the characters left arm but have lots of right sleeves lo). at one point i couldnt advance the story mission because i had taken on an affinity quest that in the end took me to an area i dont think im really supposed to be yet (i had to sneak past monsters with 2-3 times my level so they just kept 1 shotting me) and of course because i haddnt explored that section of the map and put down markers the respawn point was miles away. still enjoying it though and again the music is great im jsut glad that they have learned how to streamline it down to be more user friendly in 2 (and you can see that x is in some ways better than 1 as well)

also bought shadow of the tomb raider and lego marvel superheroes 2 while they were 50% off so got them to play at some point

I also beat the Elite Four over the weekend, on my first run. My Pikachu's level was in the late 50s during the run and was the highest level of my party, so it took a little bit of wrangling to keep them all fighting fit. I think most of my party were a similar level to their Pokémon and I had a type advantage on most of the Pokémon thrown at me, which helped. I then got destroyed by Mewtwo as it one-shot most of my party... I'll try again at some point. I didn't know you could redo the gyms, so I'll have to have a look at that. I'm at about 110 caught on my Pokédex and had stumbled across and caught a wild Dragonite before stopping for the weekend.

On the Saturday morning, I watched a video about Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (which I played to death when it first came out on the 360), so I spent the rest of my gaming time over the weekend playing the first and second games. They're alright games, but great from a Star Wars nerd standpoint! They both could've done with more unique levels, though.
