Just noticed this on reddit this morning, HPE appear to be changing the warranty for their Aruba networking products to End of sale + 5 years, including those like the ProCurve switches previously on lifetime warranty's. Below link has the full list of products affected. Product Warranty Update for HPE Networking Products We've been slowly moving away from Procurve switches as budget allows but not looking forward to potentially looking at replacing our "Core" switches

Just bumping rather than reposting, updated info - they have relisted on eteach as attachments were missing I believe.

We have a same issue. Put an order in after noticing we weren't getting our restocks. Just chased up that order today, their support people were unwilling to answer clearly until eventually a manager mentioned the above problem. We have teachers using it without signing in, they haven't reported any limitations/issues with use. The main confusion is some thought they had to sign up and were "stuck" on the sign up page when the software first opened until one of us point out the new file button at the top.

Hey Uber, We are going through the motions of getting it all set up currently. There are 3 parts to it: SPF, DKIM, DMARC. SPF - A list of IP addresses approved for sending mail from that domain (Rule is put into DNS) DKIM - A signature added to mail to prove it game from your mail servers DMARC - A DNS Entry requesting reports on SPF/DKIM failures to be reported back to you. This also allows you to instruct recipients how to handle email that has failed (Nothing, Quarantine, Delete.) It is up to the person on the other end ultimately if they follow this up. All of this is primarily aimed at protecting others from your domain being misused, not for protecting you directly. But the more people set it up, the lower the amount of spam. Its not perfect coverage & there are ways of still getting around it, but it helps. There are services that can help set this up, particularly DMARC where you need somewhere for the reports to go and be made into information that is readable. The NCSC has a service called MailCheck that is free, its aimed at government/councils but schools can sign up, you just have to email them and ask.

We have the RM banned executable list enabled but are seeing two different outcomes. 1) User is able to download executable, but the web page goes blank 2) User is able to download executable even though swgfl filter page comes up with the RM banned executable list given as the reason. It was working last time we tested in house, not sure when this started happening. Does any one else get the same results?

Thanks @RLR, that was the problem. Just a follow up question, our ipad sets go through upto 5 different teachers a day. Do you use 1 generic account with all the classes listed, or can you log staff in/out of the iPad to get different class lists? I know apple say you can't used shared iPad on the teacher ipad unfortunately and I imagine a large list of all the schools classes might be slightly annoying for the teachers. Thanks!

Hello All, My colleague is currently running through the process of preparing for a new wave of ipads. These are the first ones we have had that can use the apple classroom app. We have got the student iPads to show up the list of classes assigned to it, but we cant figure out how to get the teacher iPad to be able to control the set. We know there are the education profiles, but we don't know how to get that to the teacher iPad. If any one could help that would be awesome. Currently we are using profile manager to manage our devices.

Had something very similar looking, Followed the same thing Caffrey has, it worked for us.

I played against tyranids when the Dark Angels had the "Dakka" Banner for boltguns. It was still scary. Ended up with Rhinos acting as road blocks on a very terrain heavy board. Tyranids and Orks are just entertaining to play against. We had a guy with enough tyranids we would do a horde mode, each dead tyranid would return to the board. Count each dead tyranid and see who survived the longest with the largest number of kills.

You should be able to set a schedule on that rule, so it only applies on the times you tell it to. Click the drop down next to "Enabled", select scheduled and then at the top of that window select the "Schedule" option. A schedule window should show up where you can click on the boxes for the times you want the rule to apply.

Hello All, Got a bit of a weird one, we have started running updates to the servers in the evening automatically with WSUS. That works fine, servers take their updates and are working in the morning. However, a couple of the servers cannot be RDP'd into until they have had one of their NICs unplugged and plugged back in. This happens on a mix of Server 2012R2 and 2016. Has any one come across anything similar?
