Slightly worrying.

Account Manager phone line disconnected

Accounts department not answering

Customer services is a call centre not in this country

Out sourcing?????

Got lovely letter threatening legal action over an overdue bill for £13... even though we recently paid £15k to them.

Account department now in Hungary:(

That might be good for some of the sponsors of this site?

Well I can promise you that our accounts team is strictly Lancashire. They even play nice with those Yorkshire folk ;)

They've always been a pain to get hold of though. Same as another .com I know.

I'll happily do you a comparison against Misco. I'll beat their pricing, delivery, service (hopefully) PLUS I send random chocolate pizzas. Happy days!

They're based down the road from us, they're moving a lot of non-sales + accounts teams to Budapest.

Can't say we're in danger of feeling too bad about it!

Ah misco, always been one of those lottery style account managers that change every week type companies. They haven't been worth the hassle of dealing with for years....never EVER get the best price from them either.

EDIT: LOL Classic timing, just received an advertising email from misco of all people.....

It's the same with every company, the random lottery of who your account manager is. I've got an account manager with Misco who will bend over backwards to get stuff sorted for me. The day he moves or I get an account manager change will be the day I move on from Misco!

What Chris said.. exactly that. Mine is really good, and always does the absolute best for us. If he goes, I probably go looking for another company.

Oh this might explain why it took over a month form them to process our new Microsoft licensing renewal and why my emails have gone unanswered for the last month too...

My account manager has been on the slide for the last 3 months, this might explain it. :(

Insight are another one who is playing silly buggers. Havent got a clue who my account manager is.

I havent heard from misco for years. We had a really decent one called matt parker but since he left, havent had anything to do with them.

I was told my account manager had left the company.. shame really as she sounded nice and always looked after me. Have to see if the new one is any good.

You should try phoning their account department, the voicemail message sounds like its recorded in a bathroom in 1987

Having dealt with alot of companies, i've never experienced it on the level that misco manages to accomplish it. They're one of a kind in that department, you're lucky if you have a good one.

This happened to us but took about 3 months!!

Misco used to be great for random phone calls at the end of the month under at least a couple of the account managers I've corresponded with (I won't go into just how many there were in my last job - thankfully not part of my remit these days). You can always tell when they're not quite up to standard in terms of their numbers!

Hmmm

I'm also getting worried about Misco. Our account manager is great but his hands are tied and as a result service is suffering. Looking around at alternative suppliers now. Shame really since we buy loads from them.

Hey ho. I find they all go that way in the end.
