  1. I'm calling <some city in south Wiltshire> (redacted at request of @Ravi_GreatFind) but it's an easy Google 🤫
  2. At least they're not charging for it ... The SSO Wall of Shame | A list of vendors that treat single sign-on as a luxury feature, not a core security requirement.
  3. I've see this sort of thing with a dodgy AP but I'd expect it to be more widespread than a select few. Someone have a Flipper perhaps? HBJB
  4. PM sent HBJB
  5. Mostly Aruba 2530 PoE in the homes.
  6. The reboot is usually in Setup/Command once logged in as the admin. Make sure all doors that have sensors on are closed or you'll get an emergency alarm for each. Sometimes 2 reboots are required. There are also some buttons on the PCB to access the menu and I recall that the system can be rebooted from there as well. I remember that if you remove the battery and reboot, it goes back to defaults. I wouldn't recommend it without a tested backup. The ones we use are also on switches that aren't 10Base-T but work fine.
  7. Intercall by any chance? Had a similar issue with one of those and a reboot sorted it.
  8. ... and me - with lovely a blue sky today It's pretty parky out there though. Still, I've had my fair share of snow this year. Been skiing twice already with another booked and a long weekend in Krakow coming up (got too much holiday to cram in before April). HBJB
  9. Here are a couple I've found recently: And not badly labeled but makes me laugh - I got a surprise in a hotel in Devon HBJB
  10. Yeah - and we've literally just signed a 3 year contract. Not a head's up even. They say they'll honour contractual obligations but indicate the product will become obsolete soon. Watch this space I guess. FAQ HBJB
  11. Yeah - my local carvery does that but also with treacle (as previously mentioned). 4 massive Yorkshires drizzled with gooey sweet stuff. Lovely Most people down here seem to think it's a bit hoffic to have them for afters but it really works. Yorkshire Puds are truly the dish that keeps on giving. Having said that I don't really like mine soggy so avoid gravy on them at all costs. I'm sure I'd get run out of town if I did that up North HBJB
  12. Now we're talking - mint sauce with everything - all over. Yummmm HBJB
  13. You'd think think so wouldn't you but then it wouldn't be bureaucracy as we know it HBJB
  14. Mice are cheaper than cameras I feel your pain - I have great difficulty getting anything that costs money authorised regardless of how useful it may be. HBJB
  15. SuccessMaker is horrid and should be banished from the world I find most errors are caused because it had been installed from a UNC path rather than the mapped drive it needs to have to run properly. Sadly there's not a cheap / free alternative that I've manged to find to replace it with - any suggestions here? HBJB
  16. Well, for me with or without the 's' it brings Glastonbury Festival up HBJB
  17. Yep - and in my experience any savings made don't go back into the I budget but go to refurbish the Head's office for the 3rd time in as many years Cynical? Moi? HBJB
  18. Yes - do tell. We moved from FMS to Corero because of the multi schools issue but AFAIK it's not able to pull / push anything to SIMS. To make matters more complicated one of our schools uses Facility and another SIMS but we're ditching CMIS in favour of SIMS. I hear that FMS can now do multi academy trusts. In my opinion Corero looks outdated and it a bit of a nightmare to find anything in but Finace seem to be managing ok with it now (after a long period of adjustment). HBJB
  19. It sure is I love it but in practice your image has to be bigger than the screen rather than smaller. HBJB
  20. Any help? Epson Distance Calculator We used this when we needed a specif short throw once. HBJB
  21. Hi, I'm a little confused as to why people think auto failover is unsafe. We have 3 routes into our building here. 1 x fibre and 2 x ADSL but all are behind our firewall / UTM so apart from being a lot slower on the ADSL failover route(s) there's no difference in filtering. Am I missing something? HBJB
  22. Well, I have a smart phone myself but the POS Nokia 300 they've given me at work is barely usable as a phone let alone smartly. Consequently I now carry two with me so I can actually do stuff and get work call HBJB
  23. We've been buying a lot of Dells lately and we never go direct to them. I can get a better price point from a reseller (currently using Total Computers - Dan) who always comes up trumps. Just make sure that Dell put your college name on any lease you may take out because they often put the supplier down and this makes warrantee repairs more painful. HBJB
  24. Same as Dan then Seems like a mass exodus. I too have been reasonably pleased with the prices + no postage either HBJB
