PRTG is free for under 100 sensors and can be installed on windows. I personally like LibreNMS, but it’s a little more complex to install. Although pretty sure there are Docker containers available.

LibreNMS is excellent.

I use Lastpass Premium (leach ff someones family account), at work we use Keepass but would prefer something that has proper RBAC control.

LibreNMS is good and can be integrated into Smokeping, Oxidized etc.

Does Lightspeed have the Android for Work component? I have setup AFW with Airwatch which works very well in regards to locking down the device. (Can be done in Work managed or Profile managed mode)

Nothing stopping you signing up for a free Office 365 plan and then just offer it for Students. I agree with this, have gone down this route with BT Retail a number of times. Might be worth trying the ISP CEO/ exec complaints as well.

I would try the exec complaints line via BT Retail. I have used them in the past and have got very good results in getting faults resolved quickly.

There's a big problem with people demanding new computers because others have newer kit... Or because the new laptops are lighter etc. And at least in my experience older devices get both memory and SSD upgrades, dependant on the age of the device. (New devices are SSD as standard). I think another factor is the time for staff not to have devices while they are being upgraded, so often it's more practical to replace devices outright (whether new or used). This then gives departments time to outfit a device if needed and redeploy.

Azure Active Directory (AAD) is not a replacement for onsite AD. The closest replacement for onsite AD would be Azure Active Directory Directory Services (AAD DS) but even that doesn't replace it fully. If you want to migrate your domain controllers in the cloud to use them for traditional task you could deploy domain controllers in Azure Virtual Machines and replicate via VPN.

No reason why you can't get O365 for the school away from HWB (Direct from MS). Although I am sure the LEA/Local Gov would prefer you to use HWB

I suspect Teams will use S4B for its backend comms. (Same as you can configure products like Cisco Jabber to use backend S4B or S4B to use Jabber)

You probably want to be looking at Office365 as well as Gmail - but I certainly wouldn't roll your own Exchange now.
