Where do you buy your toner?

We usually use QC Supplies - but they merged with XMA on the first of April and neglected to mention that. So now have no log-on to the website for prices etc. and am a bit miffed, still waiting for a call back from 2 days ago...

 

...so does anyone have any suggestions of a cheap toner/ink supplier? We mainly have HP printers.

 

(QC have been slacking on the biscuit front lately anyway...)

As I've mentioned before we use either genuine or Xerox compatibles from Futurform. They will beat almost any quote and we used to get a cheapest cartridge free deal when we were ordering a lot of toner (£1500+ a month)

We sell toner. Just putting that out there in case anyone wasn't aware. Free delivery and I personally sell loads into my customers and can't remember the last time I lost on a toner quote.

Yep, I would give up on QC, first they were wheatly dyson, then QC and now something else. Our account managers (young kids who couldn't spell) seemed to change every 5 mins and they used to mess the order up quite often. We use Silicon Alley here. Do a search on them here to read about them. Basically you don't pay for the toners until you use them.

We've used a company called LaserLife, and we're very happy with the pricing and service offered.

 

We have a deal that includes printer repairs after x amount of toners purchased etc. Handy with older HP 3600's etc that have the odd problem, and they'll pop along and service them and have them running as new.

 

Delivery has always been next business day, without fail. And on the odd occasion were we've had a faulty unit, replacements have been issued straight away.

 

Highly recommended.

We buy in bulk (three/four orders a year), always get three quotes and go with the cheapest overall.

 

TBH I've sufficient data that we could order for the whole year in one go.

 

Oddly the cold callers can never come close to best price.

Itoner sell to us. They supply original toners but not sure on pricing as finance dept get the quotes.

Hi - I use silicon alley to - they normally match on price when I chk every 6 months, but for me speed of delivery / customer service and being able to only pay once I've used the toner are key

Silicon Alley for us as well, I also can't fault them for speed or quality. If you ever run out of tonner all you do is ring them up and it will be with you the next day and paying for the toner once you have used it is really easy for us with monthly stock takes.

I get all my originals from Supplies for Schools. I used to use QC for Kyocera cartridges, but have retired all my Kyocera printers now.

Used to do a lot of field work on enterprise Lexmark lasers (Iceland & waitrose use them) and they are bomb proof, but having worked on the I just can't stand the sight of the bloody things

many thanks for your technical endorsement of Lexmark, but they have moved on so far they are unrecognisable now to most outside the company, Tesco, PC World, Vodaphone, Currys, Santander you need to ask the question why do 90% of major retailers and over 70% of the worlds leading banks use Lexmark

I have used QC Supplies for the last 18 months or so. Never had a problem except they stopped the biscuits

Since using them I have had quotes from others for genuine HP toners but no one has come close to them. We do go through a consortium framework though so that may be the reason no one comes close to the prices we pay.

We use QC Supplies - our finance team passed us a letter informing us of the takeover, and in the letter it detailed our new acc number + the sales phone number. Their service is alright (A few cartridges sent in error here and there) and their pricing seems quite competitive. Glad to know the lack of biscuits doesn't just affect us however!
