Here's what I use - you need to add your tenant ID which you can get from the azure portal (under properties). -

How do I change notification time smoothwall
Dom_ replied to Rob_In_Grimsby's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
The 4AM is annoying - if it could be 7AM it would be much better (I've a few staff who complain about being woken up with it, then staying awake if it has something that needs actioning) -
Does that whole folder *need* to be accessible online? Could you have a large on prem file store that's only accessible on prem via the mapped drive, and a smaller online sync'd folder for things they need to collaborate on remotely?

You can deploy a Sharepoint site - the only issue I've found is that it can take up to 2 hours to kick in on a new login... So fine for staff, less so for pupils using a different device each time. User Config > Policies > Administrative Templates > Onedrive > Configure team site libraries to sync automatically Stick the library ID in there and away you go. (full guide here: https://www.blackforce.co.uk/2019/06/07/automatically-sync-microsoft-sharepoint-team-site-libraries-now-live) As psydii said, I'd definitely avoid running onedrive on a machine and allowing others to map to that instance - if it signs out for any reason (updates etc), you're going to have issues!

Works fine in Firefox and Chrome (they both have a Gemalto extension which you'll need). Download the latest version from here https://signingsoftware.barclayscorporate.com/ and make sure you reboot when it tells you to (and that you have the trusted sites in too!) Technical Support Engineer - Kirklees - £20-24,000 DOE
Dom_ replied to Dom_'s topic in Educational IT Jobs
We're still looking for the right person to fill this post, get in touch if you want any more details! -
Our advice from the council who supplied them now (regarding several DoA ones) is that we can send them back for repair but the cost will be sky high so we might as well just use the 'repair' money on a new system and throw the geobook away :-|!!! We can't raise them faults through the computacentre link as our LEA provided the devices, not the DFE! So far we've had 17 arrive completely dead, what a waste of public funds!

There are two versions of the MX series - the MX265 and the MX165... the 265 has a slightly better built in android machine, but the 165 works just fine. 165's are about £1350 265's are about £1750 Both have airplay and decent speakers built in. Huge improvement on the 4000/6000 series (wouldn't touch one of them again).

The way I do it is: Install Anti-spam module and enable mail relay. Create a 365 account to be used for reports (I use smoothwall@domain) Go to Reports > Settings > Output Settings Set SMTP Server to 127.0.0.1, senders email address to [email protected] Leave SMTP Auth & TLS unchecked, and add your 365 credentials in. Save, then test Go to Reports > Settings > Groups and create a group with the email addresses you want to receive the report, then choose this group when creating your reports.

The only issue I've had with this is printing - it won't print at all from internet explorer, but in chrome the print icon doesn't appear (I have found that if you click the blank space where the print icon *should* be that it works anyway!).
