  1. People like that need a good slap. Probably written by a snowflake millenial.
  2. Managed to pick up a wooden dinosaur from Dell, a metal water bottle, and a coffee cup. Plus a few pens, etc. And ofcourse I swapped my lanyard for a Edugeek one and an Edugeek pin too. Thankyou. Oh and did everyone find the free beer stand?
  3. ESET Nod32
  4. Thankyou. That is some good information. I will try to look at my meals and start making a plan.
  5. Cichlids are great at ripping everything to pieces. That's why I've never had any plants when Ive had them. Have been tempted to go marine but currently with three small children cant really afford setting up a dedicated sump, protein skimmer, etc. I do really like my community tropical setup though. It's great seeing the shoals of fish swimming together. My clown loaches are fun to watch. Currently experimenting with different plants at the moment.
  6. I wondered if anyone could give me some tips. I'm gradually putting on more and more weight and it is time I did something about it. I have three small children and am regularly up in the nights so that doesn't help with getting me motivated in the day when feeling shattered. I tried running but its not for me. I was thinking of swimming. The problem I have is that I give in to things very easily. If someone says "Do you want a chocolate?" I'll easily say yes. I like sweet things. I need to sort out my diet too and eat more healthily. Does anyone have any tips they could help me with? Many thanks.
  7. It has been proven that fishkeeping and watching fish is very relaxing and calming. I often find it better than watching TV! Pearl Gourami are great fish. Many people get the dwarf Gourami but they are very prone to disease and instant death. The Pearls look amazing. I keep one male to 2 female. They are very peaceful fish as are the Honeys too.
  8. Who is into Fishkeeping? Let's see your tanks. Here is my Tropical community setup. Current residents: About 30 Cardinal Tetras About 20 Black Neon Tetras 3 Pearl Gourami 4 Honey Gourami 5 Ottos 2 Five Banded Barbs 2 Clown Loaches
  9. Tell them you are giving away iPads.
  10. I dont know why I was thinking of not making them static. As you all mention it makes total sense so I'l make sure I do that. I think I'l have to reset them and then set the new static IP's via Putty then.
  11. I've seen some shockingly bad websites where schools have paid crazy money for sometnhing that looks like it was made in the 1990's. The only advantage I've seen in taking out a contract with an outside company is when they help you to keep on top of GDPR, offer user management, etc A decent self hosted wordpress site is not complicated and can look so much more proffesional. So many school sites I've seen have fancy little pictures and are made to look kiddy friendly when in fact the main users are going to be parents, not kids.
  12. So we've got plenty of switches (Cisco, Netgear, etc) round the building that all have static IP's but I've not been left with any logins or details about them. I'm going to be re-doing our network and quite frankly don't believe they need to have static IP's. Im going to be changing the IP scope and range anyway so really need to just flatten them. Does anyone forsee any issues with master hard resets on the switches? Thankyou.
  13. If you are using the Virgin router in modem only mode are you using switches with built in router or a separate router? If you are planning on having important stuff on your backup NAS in the garage then I hope your garage is secure. I reccommend the Synology NAS devices. Very good and offers so much more such as adding your IP cameras, Media Server, etc. What NAS are you looking at? How many drives? RAID?

  15. You forgot to add... "In the event you can not pay the fine your home may be repossessed by the school and used as extra classrooms".
  16. The problem I've found with phones is they get put away or somewhere out of reach of students.
  17. You could put a personal attack alarm in the classroom that the teacher pulls and triggers in the event they are feeling unwell. You'd hear it half way down the corridoors!
  18. That sounds fine. Fits my situation perfectly. Thankyou.
  19. Could I still use the Sky QHub for Wifi, plug the Unifi Gateway into the Sky QHubs Lan port, turn off DHCP on the Unifi Gateway so that it gets it's address directly from the Sky QHub. Would the Unifi Gateway then still manage DHCP for it's own LAN ports? Thankyou for your help.

  21. The Unifi Security Gateway sounds like a good idea
  22. So it HAS to be layer 3? A layer2 with Layer 3-based prioritization, Layer three static routing wouldn't work?
  23. Haha Good point!
  24. I'm coming on Friday but it hardly seems worth it. The IT teacher booked the tickets which means we arrive into Euston at 10:45 and then it is 45 minutes travel from there. We then have our train back at 2:45pm, needing an hour to get to station makes us leave BETT at 1:45pm. All that travel to be at the show for about an hour whilst people are having lunch.
  25. I wondered if this would do it: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GZNAHOA/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdb_t1_sz3pCbMD8N6WK
