Thankyou for your quick reply. That would definately make things cheaper as I could go for the Standard edition. I just wondered if it was wise to have all those on one VM, especially DHCP.

Hi everyone, We currently have one server 2012 host that is running dhcp, dns, and AD, domain controller. The server then also has 1 HyperV machine running Sims. The servers on its way out and Im looking at how to move forward. I'd thought of getting a new server with about 64GB RAM and have everything virtual. So a VM running dns, AD, and domain controller, a VM running DHCP, and one running Sims. Now I'm confused on the way of doing this. Do I get one install of Windows Server and am I right it lets you install only 2 HyperV machines? Then I would need seperate licenses for installing server 2016 on each VM yes? Can I have more than 2 VM's? Never done it before so would appreciate all the help. Many thanks

It was a step backwards when it was grounded. I for one like to get somewhere quickly. I think there is still a market for that. If Boom can offer supersonic speeds with better fuel efficiency and environmental considerations then I'm all for it.

Check out Boom Supersonic. They are attempting to resurect supersonic travel and the design looks very much like Concorde.

The question that needs to be asked is what are they going to be used for? If only for creating Word Documents, Publisher an dPowerpoints, and the odd bit of web browsing then you dont need half the spec of what has been quoted. Do you have network storage or do you need the SSD's? You could have cheaper drives and save to network. Basic onboard graphics will be fine for most applications too.

I’m wondering if it’s maybe a permissions thing? Il give the test.php a go although I can’t access anything in that folder currently. Thankyou for your help especially if being the weekend. Hi everyone, I'm new here. Im in the middle of trying to get the classroom booking system working. Available from https://classroombookings.com/ I noticed webman developed the Classroom Bookings system. Please would you be able to help me. I'm quite new to all this. I have followed the instructions but when I reach the point where I have to go to the website to configure the booking system it doesnt work. I have a domain, eg. http://mydomain.co.uk I created a folder under that domain so tried to browse to http://mydomain.co.uk/classroombookings I also tried going to http://mydomain.co.uk/classroombookings/index.php It doesnt go anywhere. Instead it just stays on my domain http://domain.co.uk giving me my cant be found page. I'm hosted on 1and1 and created a new database from my 1and1 control panel. Its as if it cant see any of the classroombookings folder at all. Any ideas? I'd really appreciate it. Many thanks in advance.
