1. We use Gsuite and all Email is through that, and then our domain addresses for each school are with a different company.
2. I see what you mean now. Good point. They all come from same office365 ccount: [email protected]
3. Doesnt matter who it is. At first it was coming from the office account and now I've just created a new email test account [email protected] and it sends fine but then I received the same office365 message.
4. Just used the tool to look up and both schools have come up with: DMARC Record Published: No DMARC Record found

DMARC Policy Not Enabled DMARC Quarantine/Reject policy not enabled

How do I update/change this? Thank everyone for your help. Much appreciated.
5. So nothing has changed reguarding the MX records. Just been testing and it seems that emails are sending as we’ve checked and the person receives the email. The sender then thinks it hasn’t sent as gets an email from postmaster @Office365 with “unknown to address”.
6. So we have two schools, infants and juniors. Emails are through gsuite. All my staffs email accounts in the junior school are working fine. Eg. [email protected] The infants addresses eg. ([email protected]) are now bouncing. For some reason they get a postmaster delivery failure message from an office365 onMicrosoft address with my school name in it. As far as I know we aren’t anything to do with Microsoft. I also checked this as we’ve just had rmunify cancelled and made sure we were not using rnunify. This cancelled today. Any ideas? Thanks.
7. I have always used Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro headphones and found them great. [h=3][/h]
8. I've found several of the DELL Windows 11" laptops need restarting about 3 times before they start to respond otherwise they are very sluggish. Others I've had were fine.
9. Did it myself. You will most likely need an SDS drill if going through solid brick walls but that is pretty easy once you've had a go. It goes through walls like going through butter. Just turn off hammer action towards the end to avoid blasting half the wall off. Then a standard drill for mounting holes and easily done. If fitting in the ceiling on those cardboard style tiles, that is easy too. Just bung a hole in it, secure the screw plate at the back and boom, all done. I see the convenience but with all the metal, foil backed tiles and cables in the ceiling void I find it best to get them properly fixed to the ceiling tile looking down on the room. Better for signal.
10. Hi all, Has anyone noticed Google Classroom Notifications not coming through lately? Our teachers usually get emails that a student has left a comment or handed in work, etc. We don't have any domains restricted so it's not that and it was working fine the other day. Thanks.
11. Several of the iconic British Airways and Virgin Atlantic 747's went to the Plane Reclaimers. https://www.planereclaimers.co.uk/ They sell all sorts of weird and wonderful pieces. I'm mad about aviation so just wanted one. Some people probably think Im just mad. Currently thinking whether I keep the paint or strip it and go for the polished aluminium look. Will need a very good paint stripper if I do this! But thinking a the moment keep it as it is.
12. Thank you for the advice. I'll look into getting a metal cutting blade today and follow your advice. I'm hoping to hang it off the wall eventually once its done with lights behind it.
13. Hi all, I need to cut a metal panel. To be more specific it’s a panel and window off a Boeing 747. I’d like to round the corners as it is currently rectangular shape. Would a jigsaw be able to do this and cut through metal? Anyone cut metal before and recommends a decent way? Thankyou.
14. It certainly looks like it is not possible. I was looking at the user login logs and it seems there are users accessing all through the night. Though I guess this could be caused by other things.
15. Anyone know if you can limit access to Google Classroom to stop children working late at night? thankyou.
16. Hi, I've have a HyperV machine running DHCP and DNS and this work fine and connects to the Internet via the host physical machines NIC. The Physical machine is not connected to the network and therefore gets a 169 address. I want to update the physical machine so need it on the Internet. Can I do this without getting it added to the network? I don't want to alter anything that could mess up the Virtual servers connection. Thanks all.
17. Hi all, I thought I'd ask if anyone had any old 20" or bigger 16:9 monitors they are getting rid of in the Leicestershire area? Doesn't matter on the connections, VGA is more than fine for our uses. Not fussed on HDMI. We still have a few machines hooked up to small 14" monitors and they are way too small to see anything. So instead of throwing away, if you've got a spare do let me know. Sadly we won't be able to pay, but you will know its going to a school and be put to good use. Thank in advance.
18. With issue 3 just make sure your students group don't have ability to place or make calls. Theyll be able to join but not launch meetings themselves hence when the host leaves, they cant take over as host. You can set this in Meet settings. Then Video settings. https://admin.google.com/ac/appsettings/725740718362
19. RAM is slightly on the low side but for general learning and completing work online then theyll be fine.
20. They are Lenovo IdeaCentre 310s
21. I’ve noticed that 3 of my machines (all the same make) won’t allow a 2nd screen after I updated my Windows 10. I used to have one screen in VGA port and one in HDMI port. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers but that didn’t help. The screens work fine so it’s not them. I was reading something about it being hardware related and certain Windows installs won’t work on different hardware? Anyone had this issue or know a work around as really could do with the 2nd screen working. Thanks all.

eBay

I've also noticed a lot of people not leaving feedback anymore. Once someone purchases an item from me I normally send a message thanking them for their purchase, telling them it has been sent, and reminding them that I have left positive feedback and could they do the same for me when they receive their item. However so many don't bother. I wish it was made mandatory. Talking of ebay, I really think they need to cut back on fees, especially when you can sell on fb marketplace and it doesn't cost you a penny.
23. Can anyone confirm if they can access Google Classroom and the Meetings feature using an Amazon fire tablet. Several parents are trying to use these for home learning and we are seeing lots of issues. Thanks all.
24. We used Unlisted Youtube videos. Seems to be working well for us.
25. Thought I'd give a quick update: We went for Schools Broadband in the end.
