Hi all, Just in the middle of re-doing our iPads and our Internet speed isnt great at the moment so some of the apps that are pushed out via the Mosyle MDM didnt get installed. Can someone remind me how to force the iPads to check for updates/finish installing the apps? Thankyou.

How does your MB Air cope when under a lot of load? Does it get quite hot? Any problems?

Instead of the base model MB Air I'd be looking at the 16GB Ram, 8‑core CPU, 8‑core GPU and that still comes to less money than the Pro. Education discount also helps.

I'm eyeing up replacing my ageing Macbook Air and stuck with which to go for. Both Macbook Air and Pro now use the same M1 Apple Processor and there are many similarities between the two models. The Pro has obviously got additional fans and cooling so can be pushed a little harder and also the touch bar, which I dont really see any need for personally....But should I stretch to the Pro? Which would you go for? Thanks all.

On the Device itself. No Papercut being used. Strangely 2 of our machines have started sending scans to email again. The other two are still not having it. Going to check firmware and updates next.

Hi all, I've just tried right now adding our printer email address into Outlook and it accepted it fine and can send Email....So why it cant do it from the Scanner is really bugging me.

Thinking of trying another SMTP provider to use for the Printer. Anyone know of any good ones that will work with scan to email? Thankyou.

So installing GWSMO for the business manager has sorted her Outlook issue. It's just these blooming Scan to Email printers which are causing me a headache.

Hi, Yes, I assume I am using LSA as to use devices such as Printers or Outlook, or an Android mobile device I have to choose to use Less Secure Apps access. I'm guessing this could be it then. Is there a quick fix?

Thanks, It looks like now other devices are reporting SMTP problems and won't send. Mos of us access our emails through the website so unaffected but our Business manager prefers Outlook and although she can receive mail, any emails trying to be sent are reporting they cant send via SMTP and remain in the Outbox.

Anyone know what may be happening... Our multi-function printers are setup with one of our GSuite Email addresses ([email protected]) and then smtp settings for gmail so it will send scanned documents to users email addresses. This was working fine until yesterday. It's happening to all printers that are setup for this, so not just one machine. I've checked the account, password is correct, and it already had the security settings set to allow less secure apps through. All good there. Cant seem to figure out what it could be. The printer itself prints fine so connectivity is fine as it can be accessed. I can also get into the Printers web management page no problem there. It's just the sending that doesnt work. It won't even connect when you choose the "Test communication" button in the settings for "scan to email". What could have happened suddenly to cause this? Any ideas? Many thanks in advance.

Panasonic recently announced a change in strategic direction which essentially stated that they plan to close the Panasonic Business Communication business (PBX, SIP, and Scanner categories). See road map attached. Anyone else using these phones and planning on what to do. Obviously there is a good while before anything needs doing, but just wondered what people are planning? Thanks.

If you decide it is cheaper to outsource, you'll regret it later down the line. Look at the BSF projects where in some cases you had to phone Ireland to then get a Northgate technician out. That time frame is never going to work in a classroom learning critical situation. I saw it many times, technicans being brought in house again. They will soon moan if they cant get hold of someone so having onsite support is vital.

Ok, I think I've fixed it.....and probably should have looked better but hayho sometimes we think its got to be something deeper. In GMail settings there was additional routing to Office365 staff accounts.......what accounts I have no idea but it was replicating or trying to replicate it to O365. Deleted this host and so far I think we are running on gas again. THanks for everyones help along the way today. I'm at home with aches and pains of Covid and my heads not thinking straight. Balls. This only half works. If anyone external emails either the infants or juniors they get a onMicrosoft undelivered email so outsiders are going to think we are down, though we do actually still get their emails. Interesting that it is any of of our google domains....So if a parent emails the infants or juniors they get the instant bounce mssage from onmicrosoft. Im stumped. Anyone any ideas? Very thankfull for all your help.

Got a temporary fix in place to stop staff panicking whilst I investigate further. Have blocked the @onmicrosoft school email address to the entire domain so it isn't coming into users mail boxes any more. Will keep things happy whilst Im away with Covid.

The problem is that if there was ever a office365 setup it was a long time ago before I was here and weve never used it or know any logins. thanks,
