+1 It's not really evidence unless you can PROVE that these messages (or whatever) came from a specific IP address linked to the person in question. Anything else is just hearsay - I could manipulate facebook now with any message I wanted from whoever I wanted, print off a screenshot, give it to police and make up a story - doesn't mean it's real and doesn't prove anything. You have to be careful because the parents of this child could say you've made it all up because you have something against their child - and can you prove them wrong?

Good luck! I've tried to learn programming but I found it very hard, like others have said start with something amazingly simple first.

Hey thanks, that's useful info - just what I was after As I thought, needs to be an UST projector!

To cut a long story short, we're re-doing a room in the summer. The room in question currently has an old Hitachi projector with one of those ceiling brackets that come down from the roof. The position of the projector is moving, so I have said that we need a new whiteboard and short-throw projector, as there's a huge supporting beam that runs along this roof and if we move the current projector, the ceiling mount would need to be fixed to this beam, meaning the projector would be a lot lower than it is now. Are there any laws which require you to have a certain amount of 'head room' as I am wary that this is not going to be safe, and we need a short-throw projector because it would be so low that someone tall (like me) could bang their heads on it. I rekon it will be about 6.5ft - 7ft off the ground!

With graphics cards, always stretch your money to get the best you can afford - otherwise when the framerate starts dropping you'll miss that extra % Go on - treat yourself

I recently purchased this: Sapphire HD 7950 BOOST 3GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI.. | Ebuyer.com on it's own, overclocked and runs VERY nicely - It outputs to my 24" 1080p monitor as well as my 37" 1080p TV at the same time and runs games such as FC3 at max settings. If you want SLI two of these overclocked would do the job: Asus GTX 660 Ti DirectCU II OC 2GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI.. | Ebuyer.com Ok, it's £40 over budget but in my opinion worth the little extra!

As soon as I read "Consumerization" I closed the page, typical american bull! Computers will always need humans to operate, and humans will always need other humans to help them with computers.

Our head wants to look at increasing everyone's disk space, I think a SAN would be the best option but she's asked me to look at other on-site solutions (cheaper if there is such a thing?) We are an RM CC4 school, which may or may not make a difference... If it was up to me I'd just throw a SAN in - but it's not!. ideas?

I left school at 16, got a job here as ICT Tech at 17, never looked back! Now 21 with a car, looking at moving out of home soon and looking for a new, better job. I'm 21. My brother, who is 1 year younger than me went to uni to do Computer Science, failed the first year, is in thousands of debt and moved back into home and is now depressed. He's 20. Uni is worth it, but ONLY if you stick to your work and don't use it as an excuse to party! If it was me in your position I'd go straight into work because I would waste my opportunity at uni - but that's down to a matter of personal opinion. EDIT: Also experience in this field is arguably more valuable than qualifications!

I had 4 of them at one point! (two missing, one smashed) - I don't even know how much it takes, pretty sure it's a pint though

Samsung is stealing Apple's thunder lately. I now know of 7 people with S3s, all of which couldn't resist buying one after seeing mine, 2 of those people were avid Apple fanboys, now they wouldn't go back!

Is it wrong to block non manager staffs work calls outside of hours?
BassTech replied to dany2010's topic in General Chat
Do the hours you're paid for, anything else doesn't get dealt with until you're back and within your paid working hours. They don't respect you anymore for answering calls from home, in fact if you do it often they'll come to expect it! Don't get walked all over. -
BBC: "A profile of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on Russian social network VKontakte suggests he has been a student at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and had previously attended school in Makhachkala, in the Russian Republic of Dagestan, between 1999-2001. It suggests he is a Muslim believer and reads: "The main thing in life - status and gold". The latest update on the page is from 19 March 2012." Seems he could be a religiouis extremist.
