  1. Our SBM uses a Surface Pro 4 and FMS on a local server. When she goes away and the surface pro locks the screen or goes in to sleep, it kills her FMS connection causing FMS to crash out. The laptops we use with the other finance girls do not have this issue, yet all sleep and lock screen. I have made sure Windows 10 is 1709, network card drive is up to date. Doesnt matter if it running on its own through Wifi or if its through the Surface Dock and cabled in. Any ideas as its baffled me! Thanks
  2. check the BB routers... plug a laptop directly to a switch that goes to said router. ping servers from client? ping printers around the building? eventually you should see a pattern. turn all switches off except router and first switch, make sure you can talk to the world. turn next switches on and plug laptop in to that one, do the same tests and so on and so on.
  3. Going from my experience of Lightspeed as a non-SB customer, our LA provides our broadband and uses Lightspeed filtering, and to be honest, its pretty much fine, rarely get any issue other than a new blocked site we need access to. If it works for our LA, then logic surely states it should work for SB customers. Same in reverse, if SB customer have LS issues, then sure non-SB Lightspeed customers would have problems too?
  4. Apparently, you have to add the shared mailbox in Outlook online, I however have not managed to do this successfully which is very annoying. If you figure it out, please tell. Sorry can't help any other way!
  5. Well, from what I see, Apple states as per local copyright laws for actual purchased music, Apple Music is for personal use. iTunes Store Content: - You may burn an audio playlist to CD for listening purposes up to seven times (this limitation does not apply to DRM-free Content). You may use the audio CD to which you have burned your Content in the same ways in which you may use an audio CD purchased from a retail store, subject to local copyright laws. Apple goes on to say: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY You agree that you will not use such proprietary information or materials in any way whatsoever, except for use of the Services for personal, noncommercial uses in compliance with this Agreement. Schools are generally non-commercial (not sure on paid nursery places though) Non-commercial Use Personal interest Education e.g. for use in schools, academies, college, degree and some vocational courses e.g. Training courses provided by organisations whose primary business is not educational would be considered commercial [*]Research e.g. conducted as part of post-graduate (MSc, PhD) study, or e.g. research undertaken for public benefit where the results will be openly available to all [*]Reporting for statutory purposes e.g. Article 17 of the Habitats Directive But I would say you will need one of these at least to do it in a non-curriculum way. https://www.prsformusic.com/licences/playing-music-at-work/educational-establishments
  6. Office 2016 uses slightly different mailbox pst files i think.... Im sure in Control Panel the Mail applet is Mail 2016. So, could be it picking up his older outlook profile and getting stuck?
  7. I went to look at SIMS Primary and SIMS Finance. An orange shirted guy came over and i clocked MLS, he goes you know us? I was like yep, not a chance and walked off....
  8. sharing permissions? It would be thing only thing I can think of that could do this? Can you UNC to it on the server? How about a \\server\c$\batfiles\something.bat path rather than the share name?
  9. It's only USB, i'd expect Serial at least for this cost! lol

  15. Yes, it would do... How about an exchange account that syncs contacts instead? and unique itunes accounts for users to use to personalised contacts?
  16. Single itunes account, set contacts up in that and let it sync to all phones
  17. Yup, 01204 363530 - IDNS - Ash
  18. Looks good! Im glad they didnt kill of Carrie in earlier seasons, they've had ever opportunity to do so!
  19. Speak to Ash @ IDNS, and ask about Clevertouch and a table top stand that can change angles and lay flat!
  20. Not bad, the menu when showing on a android phone are transparent and a little difficult to read properly.... Like the layout etc though
  21. Ill just leave this here....
  22. We use MyConcern here, with 3 DSL's and all staff involved are included in the concern they raised and added to unless it is detrimental to the case. We had an issue recently and was praised by Social Services on our reporting and that all members we're able to actively add information, and see the outcome. If someone reports a concern, and doesnt know the outcome, whats to stop them Whistleblowing and causing more of a problem when it would already be in hand?
  23. Same here Dos_Box, my Xperia XZ updated over the weekend and is... well.... slow! randomly crashing apps, random restarts, wish i hadn't updated it now...
  24. Yup, roaming profiles here, redirected desktops and start menus and the usual other folders.... Mandatory just doesnt work great with 10...
  25. The machines running our Clevertouch Tv's have picked up 1709.... All works fine except..... The onscreen keyboard is tiny, really tiny..... Other than that, i implemented the new ADMX's when they was released and tweak what needed doing.
