These RM Pcs are a good few years old now ... lots still around school however. I'm now a bit concerned that I've had two in the last three weeks do exactly the same thing.! The SATA connector to the CDROM is actually a MOLEX to SATA adaptor. I guess the sensible option to now to visit 60 odd PCS and disconnect the CDROM and remove the molex to sata connector. I am interested if any others on here have had similar issues with RM Pc's

Hi all, We have around 60 oldish RM PC's around the school. Over the last 3 weeks I have had two that have experienced a burn out of the CDROM sata connection. ... please see attached pics. Anybody else experienced this .. especially with older RM PC's?

Just to let you all know ... I got there in the end !! I used WazzapMigrator ... https://www.wazzapmigrator.com/ not a particularly simple solution but it did do the job :-)

I have seen that site ... it's either out of date or just plain wrong !! ... when installing whatsapp on android it will only look at the google drive to see if a backup exists.
-
As far as I can see that article only explains how to transfer using google drive from one Android to another. This is straight forwards and works well. The problem is that the iOS version of whatsapp will only backup to icloud, and the Android version will only restore when installing from a google drive backup. There seems to be no obvious way of transferring the message and attachment data between the two.

Can anybody recommend a simple reliable way to move Whatsapp messages from an iPhone to a new Samsung s10?

Does the File server only have one VHD connected to it or does it have 2 … one for the OS and another for the data? If it has two then just create a new VM and OS disk and connect the existing VHD that contains the data to it.

I love working with Joomla, I find it much more flexible than wordpress ... Also a search for Northgate Primary delivers the site as the first result so cant really ask for much more than that.

Thanks @Marci ... I was struggling to get that section to be responsive, I've turned it off in mobile view for now :-)
