  1. We have Sharp mostly at our sites, but the latest batch installed March 2021 literally fall to bits. I have had tray runners "fall off", fuser units lose plastics part that then go into the rollers, constant paper jams... Been an absolute nightmare!
  2. We just got our batch of LA HP 250's... but as a Special Needs school, we need certain software installed so we wiped them and rebuilt them with our images... Got a nice Python script that generates the HP BIOS passwords nicely
  3. AFAIK, FTE is based on Knowledge Workers, ie, staff who use technology as part of their main role... Groundworkers, cooks etc are excluded, therefore if you have TA's who are their to support students with personal care etc more than using computers, they would not be classified as a Knowledge Worker, and excluded from the FTE count.
  4. rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL srchadmin.dll should bring up the options you need.
  5. I had a server fill up on the Search Indexing size... worth a look, go in to the settings a Rebuild it.
  6. Im back in school middle of next week, ill give one a go
  7. When you open the ISO, goto the Drivers section and drag and drop the driver folder in to it. That will add the driver files to the image so when you plug the device in, it understands it correctly.
  8. Have you installed the drivers? I build them into the ISO using NTLite, but you can manually install them too...

I use Office 365's SMTP servers to send from our Toshiba's with a copier@..... email address for authentication.

We have Toshiba here, got 7 of their large copiers running Papercut happily. Been using Toshiba for the past 5 years with no problems.
  11. thats also irrelevant, even though I agree and have told their developers the same, but alas it is what it is!
  12. I am sorry to read your frustration.... BUT.... you have not followed the instructions for network deployment exactly... The network deployment instructions state that you need the GPO ADM files to deploy the licensing details via GPO for Lynx, this will stop the end users getting prompted. Snowflake also deploys fine, and as per the instructions, you run the software once per machine as an administrator and it works fine as a standard user. I deployed Snowflake and Lynx 2 1/2 years ago with no problems because I followed the instructions that they provided. For your ease, i have provided the links here: https://support.clevertouch.com/products/cleversoftware/cleverlynx https://support.clevertouch.com/downloads/cleversoftware/snowflake If you read these documents on the above pages it will work... The software does work when you follow the instructions which to be honest is not complicated or hard to read. On a side note, Snowflake is very graphic heavy and will run slow on low end machines.
  13. There are network deployment instructions for this.... In a nutshell, you have to run it the first time as an administrator... Any subsequent runs work fine as a standard user. They do have a script to automate it, but i didnt bother for the 20 machines running it here!
  14. Ours was very slow to start with on our Toshiba copiers, but was told its down to the driver not picking up the copier settings correctly... We have to make sure nothing it auto detect and the actual copier setting are set right... Goes full speed now!
  15. Doesn't GDPR explicitly state an opt-out option is a no no?
  16. Does it do it as a Admin? could it be a permissions issue?
  17. It does indeed need IE11 still, if you remove it from Win 10, everytime someone imports CTF data itll throw up and error and bomb out, Capita's response was thats its environmental and not SIMs because SIMs uses the default browser, yet but when I reinstalled IE11 back on the machine, it no longer crashes, even though Chrome is set as the default.
  18. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1tXCBmx6QKXgCzLNW2xQkPkj_9YrvS4Go There is the Windows 10 64bit drivers for them... I have them working here on Windows 10 without issues.
  19. Clever touch supply the adm files for group policy where you can set the licence details and you deploy the msi as normal. Works fine here, deploys perfectly. Snowflake however deploys fine but you need to run it the first time on each machine as an administrator and sign in to activate it.
  20. Been using PS Asset (SchoolAssetManager) for years, never looked back, really good support as well!
  21. Of course, the value range lacks the cleverstore! Not sure what the recommend except search for the mdm apk file and manually adding them?
  22. We got the Clevertouch Plus boards, and the MDM app is installed as standard with their newer android deployments. Before it was part of the deployed OS, it was in the Cleverstore. Is there an OS update for your V boards? or maybe a store update for them that enables them?
  23. Ill give it a miss, hoping to uniform our ICT area in 6th form, thanks anyway
  24. Are they all identical?
