My earliest gaming experience was on the Commodore Vic 20, it was a very basic worm (line) flying through space through some tunnels. You could only go up or down, had me hooked for hours! Aside from this, when I was young I played Supremacy on the Amiga, a game both myself and my older brother enjoyed. Whilst i am an advocate for Vanilla networks, EiSnet from Cantium Solutions is a pretty good competitor. It uses alot of the standard vanilla stuff with an easier to use GUI. They dont seem to advertise it, but it is a platform they sell.

If they are Windows devices on the domain, try the following: Add the exam user accounts to a specific security group. Add that group only to the laptops security allowed group for the device in AD. Deny access to all other groups except admin groups. They can still log off, but can only login with an exam user credential.

First things first, in place upgrades wont work. Modern server networks run 64 bit, Windows 2000 server is highly likely 32 bit. Better off starting from scratch and building the network from the floor up, migrating users and data as you go.

You can run multiple domains on the network, you can create a Trust between the domains to allow users to authenticate between them. Ideally, you should have both controller on the same domain, migrate the services over and decommission the old controller. You cannot however run 2 DHCP servers on the same open network, it will cause havoc! Keep DHCP on one server, DNS on both with forwarders to the DHCP server if that holds the broadband connection. DHCP is an easy thing to migrate from one server to the new one, takes no time at all.

I got my 10 year old the Samsung Tab A10, it works great for him with all the games he plays with little slow down (except BTD6 when you get in the 100's level)...
