What WiFi solution are you using? Could you use PPSK create a few key, push this out to your devices and then retire the old one, keeping the same SSID but stopping users that you don't want access?

Surely if a user is deleted mailbox doesnt exist anyone that attemps to email will get a none deliverable, this should be enough?

I think the parts are only 1/2 of that but if I was installing a new system I would put one in now.

Debian and the Glennr scripts make things easy if you don't know Linux well. Updating the application is so easy to with another script.

It runs far better on Linux, I moved our servers over a few years ago now after inheriting a windows setup that gave me nothing but issues.

All the other manufacturers have had this for some years now, even the new TPLink stuff has had it and I've never heard of any performance issues, in theory as your not broadcasting as many SSID's that side of things should perform better. Until its a live version I wont be having a look, normally stay a few versions behind for bugs etc but its promising news as I know quite a few are looking at moving hardware due to this.

You should run with 2 accounts at least, a normal user for day to day logging into your machine, an admin account to admin machines and use only when needed and if you wanted to go this way a third for admin on servers or elevate rights on your other one used for admin of desktops etc. Your normal account should have no more admin permissions to desktops than a standard user, if you really need to make a local admin on your machine but I advise our lot not to but have the option. That way your working the same as a user so you can see if there are also any issues too.

Thanks for that, £200 is way over budget, the cheap mic recommended is more in budget, might have to get one and have a play and test it out and see how it works out. It's for an event once or twice a year but anything has to be better than 1 laptop.

I can feel something coming my way already but away from work I'm involved in a number of things, 1 of them will have a AGM once a year and there seems to be a desire to stream it to allow others who cannot travel watch say via Teams. Any recommendations for camera, speaker and microphone setup? Room will have 20-30 people in typical conferance room size, just want to know what options there are and if equipment is available to loan? My apologies, without setup its been discontinuted due to the national system we use but for normal O365 they will remain, sorry for the confusion.

Having the same card as ID is one way to get staff to wear ID as they then need to use it to get around sites but if its lost and not reported it does mean access to building can be then granted! Could be cheaper to see if you can get some bigger card holders, that may work out cheaper but I've just had a search for "paxton cards 100's" and a few results come up, see how they compare or speak to a local Paxton installer see if they can do a bulk price rather than buying small packs could work out cheaper.

An alternative but cheaper option keep the existing cards for access as that side works, just buy plain cards and print the ID side, they should both fit in the same holder so people can use the newly printed for ID but the old one behind? Be far cheaper if you need to reprint all. If not give them a breakdown of the cost what it would be to buy and print new cards, don't forget the time involved in it too.
