Cannot fault 3CX, a mate of mine used to push FreePBX out but since became a 3CX reseller at his business hes swtiched to that. No reported issues and I cannot fault it, only issue I've had is hardware I was running it on at home, was a little annoyed when you could no longer run it on a Pi due to them increasing the spec needed but its robust and the Android client is good too.

It would not be my first preference down to cost, 4G/5G would be what I would look first, its a fraction of the cost and in the right area can deliver good enough speeds but if signal is your issue and no wired or you need portability then it would be my next option. It's cheap compared to what similar services used to cost, I've not heard anything bad but not personally used it. I follow alot of van lifer type channels online or those off grid and many switched to using Starlink rather than having multi sim routers, costs the same but better speeds. They are doing refurbished hardware at a steal compared to new at the moment, if the monthly cost wasnt sky high I would have got one then paused it but at £80 a month or what ever I cannot justify it. Will stick with my 4g but please let me know how you get on with it.

What do you want to do, what do you want to achieve at the end of it are my two questions, as what they want to acheive by what they want to do doesn't always add up so you can then chip in and say to achieve you need to do x, y and z in simple terms.

I have seen this before walk away from it now, I thought that had stopped long ago. I think we might see more of this as print declines and machines are used more for scanning as it is a way of them making up for what the loose printing, although full stop there is no money in copiers except the initial sale/deal of them. There are components that have a shelf life when it comes to scanning as the plattern on top does have a lifetime and parts do require swapping no different to the print side of things so that might be how they justify it. What I would be looking at here depending on how the machine is setup even if you copy it could count it as a scan so you could end up paying double one to watch for, same with prints/copies they could be set to double/triple click which again was a practice I thought was long gone. Do a copy mono and take a page count before and after check mono only gone up one, do same with colour, then A3 check what they are doing you for now. Find another supplier if I were you, having worked in the industry doing support just a heads up knowing what some of the greedy people of the industry like to do.

Have you contacted the company in question? The website hasn't been hacked has it?

You can sync multiple sources into PaperCut, I've not done it as we have domain trusts in so just get ours to look at security group but with your inTune one they still could use a pin code as far as I am aware.

If you are new to this there will be lots of things picked up, do the work first using some of the tools available, there will be lots of things more than likely the first time run, it will be a steep learning curve to some but worth it in the long run.

I ended up buying the P20i ones, currently £25 but I got them for £15. They are absolutley spot onfor what I need, just as good as the wired ones I got back in the day with a previous phone, might be cheap but I wouldn't want to pay any more these are absolutley spot on.

We have the older model a 200, we have our main device and then under it we have each of the sensors we have plugged in which show temperature and humidity, added long before me but they are using sensor SNMP APC hardware as far as I can tell.

You should try some clinical systems out there!

We have 24" as standard at work, dual screen linked so 1 cable to the desk which works perfect. I had misamatched 24" at home till the other year which I hate, now runs a dual 27" setup which is big enough, wouldn't want anything bigger. I do prefer the two screens not sure if I could do to 1 big one or curved but happy with what I've got.

Start at the core check all ok there, if you site is big disconnect the edge switches and start by testing 1 by 1 to narrow your area down then hit that area if the fault happens. Doesn't hurt to reboot switches/routers as I've had some that sometimes just loose their marbles but does sound like a loop issue, hence why any unused ports are never used or disabled.

I got a Hive a few years back, I've integrated it with Home Assistant and can manage my on/off via that based on different things, I need to invest some time to properly sort it but the proof of concept and rules I setup worked but needed fine tuning, I wanted to expand my Home Assistant setup to be a bit more advanced but again down to time.

That's poor design, we have test patients in clinical systems, they are marked as test as such to allow things such as this, Mickey & Minnie Mouse are the common ones!!

Do you need 4/5G? Do you not have suitable spare IP addresses allocated to your internet connection where you could put home style router in the switch and provide a connection that way? Failing that, a cheap internet connection you can pick one up for 30 a month there abouts, use it for a backup but use it for testing?

Google Maps you can share your location and provide a link. I do it for an event we run where we need a tracker as such on the evening, easy on and off and a simple link, no config, no extra apps. I also suspect most will use Whats App, you can share your location in there so surely parents and their kids could do that.

If you are going to use a rack kit for a tower server just make sure you mount is the right way and not let the CPU hang down if you get me, I used to see it all the time with desktops and it bugs me.

I found that out once when I had to another similar thing for a friend, glad it doesn't sit on my network, don't feel comfortable with what I don't have control have hence the lock down.

I would only create an outbound rule in this instance, it wont need an inbound for any external to door bell, in this instance if you needed it you would need a NAT. Look at the outbound after doing any rule, analyse the logs and lock it down if no firewall requirements document is provided which is unlikely. Get is restricted, that is how I work when I get something that does have a document as such.

They way I would approach was do you have coverage everywhere you need at the moment, are there any dead spots? Does coverage meet your needs? Plotting all your AP's on site plans is very helpful and helpful to document what the wall types are like if said AP is covering multiple rooms nearby. What the details of the switches they connect to, the POE draw on some AP's maybe more than others can your current switches cope of do you need an upgrade there too? What is the backbone like between switches, will more data be chucked around if the new AP's are higher performing, all good and well installing new AP's but they may not perform is the backbone isn't there to support. Do some areas have more useage and may require additional AP's in that area to cover, might be worth looking at what connects to each and seeing where it peaks.

We had hours and hours of rain yesterday, water table is maxed out in Lincolnshire. Just over the River on the northbank to us there was some flooding and I know parts of Lincolnshire were hit but no wind, we had that the other night. This morning it's not too bad, wouldn't even tell it rained except in a few places where there is no where for the water to go.

Thanks, I had considering a adapter but time to upgrade I think. They seem to vary in cost so much.
