I upload quite a bit of my photography to FlickR, typically I used to tag images on there which was time consuming so have started the process in Windows which also makes it easier to find said photos later but that is another story. One thing I do it geotag my images on FlickR so they can be found in said area, does anyone have a way of doing this to the jpg so the data is on the file so I have but but also to save that one job when I upload it it will display where it is then? I know I may have to get the details and add them in which is no different to now and the future plan would be to look at another camera with GPS built in, for me although the details are in the description/file name its another point incase that goes or I forget in the future. Any recommendations as I have tried to edit in windows but no joy.

We discourage SMS as its not necessarily secure but will use that as an option as USB tokens I believe MS are no longer going to support.

Does your Net2 server have the facility to communicate via your firewall for SMTP do do you need to allow it, have a look on your firewall see if there are any similar rules for your MIS server. Also do you have DNS specified on the Net2, can it see out, can you connect on telnet?

Not the first time I've seen devices connected to the PSTN been hit, most stuff is earthed but you will find things like modems and cheaper routers that don't have a earth will be the bits that often get fried. Not saying other things don't but just from experience. You cannot cover everything, these things happen, although inconvenient, it is what is is, moving to fibre that risk will reduce alot.

I don't think there is any issue with how it is delivered just didn't want to have to be getting broadband for the sake of it, I know PSTN is going and happy to move as the line will still function but wasnt sure if you could could just have voice like that. Will mention that to them and see what they want to do.

Not sure where to put this one, not for me personally but I have been asked the question and I am not sure what the answer is to turning here for a bit of help. Friends Grandparent who is 100+ living at home has recieved letter from BT about the change to digital voice and PSTN been turned off, doesn't have broadband and has no requirement for it. I know phones are plugging into routers now but what are the options here? I know other ISP's such as KCOM supply an ONT and you plug in but the internet side isn't lit, this line is still on copper with no plans to change, can anyone advise, anyone been through some process?

If said user logs into a work PC does it work there?

Create a new domain from fresh, put trusts in if you really need to but with the overall plan to migrate to new domain unless you already have 1 domain you want to migrate to is how I would and have done it in the past before in business.

Yes Windows is ok. If I manually authentiate it works but not via the user pushed out via MDM, if I put the MDM credentials in manually its ok, its all to do with certificates but not sure exactly what.

Does anyone out there have 2 seperate domains that have a trust in place and have WiFi at either site that should allow either domain to connect to it, if so did you have any authentication issues? I've got some issues connecting Android and Apple devices managed on our MDM via this method, if the credetnials are manually entered they work, its down to the trust and certificates if anyone can assist.

Have a chat with local cabling companies, they often have stuff like that they have pulled out and are going to scrap, I've got a few companies I use who have helped me out in the past.

Question for all. If you have an auto attend with a message on and does its business, in the past when we have had a incident of major note as such we have added a pre message saying we are aware of such incident and are dealing with it and if your issue is something else continute to hold it continutes to do its usual call queue messages, in phone speak is there a term for that pre message? I've done it before many years ago and it worked but our current supplier seem to be struggling and just want to know what this would be classed as so I can go to them. Cheers

All 999 users were affected, Fire, Police, Ambulance & Coastguard wasn't just limted to an area but the whole UK. I believe other parts of the BT network have been affected as I tried to make some calls to landlines which had difficulty in connecting, unknown if related and nothing has been mentioned yet. There are a handful of call handeling centres that take the 999 calls before passing over to the relevant service up and down the UK. Will be interesting to see what went wrong as although its up its on a backup system. I know some of the services used which can pass your location over are not up and working properly so some sort of failure. It is known for 999 lines to fail in small areas regularly but for UK wide it has happened before but long time ago.

Don't think I've seen WMP on machines for ages, I just use VLC as my go to now.

There is a setting to check each job and use in conjunction with block the release of jobs when in errors between them two options it might help.

A few years ago I used to work on the basis of £100 a point on a straight forward run, maybe now £150/160 nothing too complex. I would create a baseline policy for computer, server and users of settings that all users need, then baseline staff policy then settings that need applying to these groups can be applied. Then look at your specifics but keep them as minimal as possible as the more policies the longer things will take to login.

Have a look at UTMStack, the free version will do up to 90 days log collection and is apparently easier to configure than Splunk.

Not really with ease. I literally want to count how many times said phrase is mentioned regardless of the order its entered. The second one queries the date which is in another colum and in the main it works its just seems to be the order thats the issue when the dates are included.

Sleep is my biggest thing outside of work!! I do a bit with the camera now and again, but main hobby is vintage vehicles, in my case old fire engines. I have 2 spreadsheets, incidents and statistics for agruments sake. In incidents there is a worksheet with the year i.e. 2023. Incidents containts data and statistics pulls figures over. In incidents colum C has text like DOG CAT BEAR MILK WATER WATER-RE CAT-NIP entered, could be in any order, not in alphabetical but just as its enter. I have an issue where these forumlas are not quite working correctly, they basically sum up the times the above is used i.e. DOG = 1, MILK = 1. On incidents in tab called stats this look at 2023 and sums them =COUNT(IF(ISERROR(FIND(B80,'2023'!$C$2:$C$30000,1)), "",1)) On statistics this queries the above and does the same but does it based on date. =COUNTIFS('[incidents.xlsx]2023'!$E:$E,">="&C$1,'[incidents.xlsx]2023'!$E:$E,"<"&EDATE(D$1,0),'[incidents.xlsx]2023'!$C:$C,$A41) C could be 01/01/2023 D could be 01/02/2023 So it would look at dates between. Incidents - colum E is date Incidents - colum C is the one that has dog cat etc in A41 at the end is a call that has said value in. Hope that makes sense so far. Basically both formulas should add up the same, first is just a total, second has a sum at the end of it but they dont match and its because its not liking things in a mixed order. Can I modify my formula to count regardless of its order?
