Not another one, i have to have Cream Soda that is made in Hong Kong as almost all the ones in supermarket are low sugar artificial sweetener crap that taste as vile as diet coke. We have more low sugar, low fat diet crap on our shelves than ever before and people are more over weight than ever. These things are the cause, they don't satisfy you , and if you are not satisfied you will crave and crave and then binge. I use to last decade drink and eat all this vile stuff and yo yo diet, slimming world, weight watchers, low carb, gi diet. I ended up 18 stone! I then 2013 chucked it all out and only have full sugar and full fat products and don't calorie count and enjoy food now, i got down to 12 stone by the end of 2013 and i am still in the 12 stones. Them doing this to products fills me with rage, its not the solution.

My iPhone 5 when it was close to 500 cycles (which is when Apple class it as worn out (1000 cycles on Macbooks and iPad,) would shutdown instantly if i tried to load an app up outside in the winter when the battery would be anywhere below 50%. So to stop this Apple have made the iPhones since the 6 slow the CPU down if they detect the battery is worn out so the phone does not instantly shutdown. I really don't get why some are having a fit over them improving user experience. Which would people rather the phone do when the battery is worn out and you need to make a phone call? Take 0.5 seconds longer to load the phone app or shutdown and not be able to make the call? Only good thing is Apple have promised to add more battery information in settings in an upcoming iOS update, so i am hoping it will show cycle count like Macs do at last.

Got a server at home, which has 4x 6TB disks to create 2 RAID1 mirrors. These are SATA connected to the motherboard. I need to take a backup of the data so i bought another 6TB drive to make a copy of 1 of the mirrors, but i cannot make a 6TB partition on it as it only see's it as 1.5TB drive. This is connected via one of those USB HDD docks. It is converted to GPT so i dont get why i it cannot see it all, it can see all 6TB on the other drives. Any ideas?

Yes you can, cannot remember exactly how i did it , as we don't do that anymore as most devices should use band steering and jump to 5Ghz if available. I think you create an Access Point Group with just the 5Ghz frequences ticked, then in the AP Group options you can select a WLAN group that contains the SSID you want to be 5Ghz only (will have to first create that from the configure WLAN page).

I love my PS VR, got it 14 months ago, i did have a small spot of not using it but that was when i had played most the games i had wanted. Seems to be more and more coming out now and its been used a lot again. I don't notice the lower resolutions as i just get immersed in the world so much.

I say go PS4. I have the original Xbox, and 8 Xbox 360s that i use for System Link multiplayer gaming with my mates, so i do like the Xbox but i went PS4 this generation and do not have an Xbox One (yet). To me it feels like Playstation get that its a games console first and entertainment system second, at least at launch Microsoft seemed to see it the other way around. If you like COD you get the season pass content 30 days sooner than Xbox, you can add Playstation VR which i have had for a year now and is amazing. Then you have some of the social games like Hidden Agenda available that you can play with friends via their mobile phones as controllers. I also prefer some of the exclusives on the PS4 such as The Last of Us Part 2, Grand Tourismo Sport, Uncharted 4. Just feels like PS4 is a more serious gaming console.

If you are going to that scale i would work with an Apple Education partner such as GBM https://gbmdt.co.uk/ (there are a few others too) if you are not already. You would get a lot of free training for teachers as its based on number of iPads sold.

We moved from SIMS to iSAMS at the high school, i prefer iSAMS, the teachers massively prefer iSAMS, the exam officer is over the moon with it and the Office staff at first did not like the change but now they are familiar with it prefer it, but since September they do seem to have got slower at responding to support requests and like ColinP says seem have a lot of bugs recently . We are just in the process of moving 4 primary schools in our MAT to Scholar Pack from SIMS. Soon to be SIMS free and all our MIS systems will be fully web browser based, client platform neutral .

Active Directory connected What management tools do you use? Munki, Deploy Studio Are you using network or local storage? Network storage on iMacs, local storage on Staff Macbooks If using local storage, how do you backup? Crashplan for staff Macbooks What challenges do you face with your Macs? Cannot think of any, they just kind of work.

I think it will be an uphill struggle, the only thing we use massively on Office 365 is email. The teachers hate one drive, i hate one drive, the admin staff hate one drive so they don't use it. The kids don't bother with one drive because they have to sign in so much so just save it locally on their iPad. I've also been burned too many times by Office 365 to even care for it anymore. Its an extremely badly designed and badly executed service with hardly any thought for the end user experience. I did look at trying to get our shared areas over to Office 365 but its just not workable yet. Stupid things like Sharepoint sites don't appear for the kids in the one drive app on an iPad unless they login to the web based version and favourite the site first what kind of idiot thought that was a great idea?! There should be a force on all users option. Same with pinning icons to the Office 365 launcher. Then you have the fact Microsoft cannot make their mind up, they had place holders, then they removed them, then they came back. Then one of my biggest annoyances is the fact it signs out after 30 days if not run due to licensing. I'm sick to death of logging in, or staff loading Outlook ignoring the Office 365 login window then calling me to say their email ain't working. So i would say don't force any more Office 365 on users until Microsoft get there act together with this awful product.

I don't think the LCD TV's are any cheaper than Projectors to run electricity wise. Any ideas where i can delete these categories in Outlook? If i delete the one called Blue Category it does disappear from the left window, but what about the ones not showing in my manage categories list like Accounts Payable? I've looked on OWA and they don't show there either just the colour categories.

We replace them when we cannot fix them, still have plenty of Epson X5 projectors that have been in use for over 10 years now.

Do we get Office 2019 for Mac ? As for the first time ever we got Office 2016 for Windows and Office 2016 for Mac , they usually have different years for the Mac version.

Only way you can tell is the box is slightly different, it says refurbished on it. If you get another 9 years out of this one it will be £212 a year for a premium laptop. The trackpad on the Mac makes using gestures to flick between VM's a really nice experience.

I went from a 5 to a 6 and as soon as the SE came out i was there on launch day dying for the smaller phone again. So whilst i may love the tech Apple announce today i do not want to give up the smaller form factor phone, the 6 was too big and i'm 6ft 3 with big hands. So it would have to have something extremely amazing for me to go back to a bigger phone. Going by the rumours it will be interesting to see a proper implementation of using your face to unlock the phone unlike Samsung who rushed it and so can be unlocked using a photo.

Never experienced this, but the first thing i would try is deleting /Library/Preferences/com.apple.keyboardtype.plist so it forgets the keyboard type then reconnect keyboard.

Do you not get Adobe Encore as part of CC? Its on our download list with CS6 and i know that does DVD authoring.
