  1. As far as I'm aware, the Teams are fully activated. The Teams were created back in September, and will have been used for setting homework assignments since.
  2. I have just heard back from the teacher, and I don't believe the students are muted.
  3. I've got one teacher who for the every one of the 'live lessons' they hold (meetings), the chat is disabled for their students. As a school, we have the chat function turned on for students (and staff). The students are able to chat in other meetings. The teacher and all the students in one of the classes completely uninstalled and reinstalled the Teams app, after having first tried signing out and signing in again. I got one student to try using the web app, at which point they were able to send a message but the chat was disabled immediately after. I added in our test student, and was able to chat perfectly fine in one of these meetings. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this? Or what else we can try to get this resolved? I believe the teacher is scheduling the meetings as standalone meetings, instead of in the Class Team itself. Is that likely to affect it? Any help would be truly appreciated!
  4. We had the same problem. I believe it's a known issue in 1607. Upgrading to 1703 fixed it for us. This article looks useful: https://ugetfix.com/ask/how-to-fix-not-working-microsoft-photos-app-on-windows-10/
  5. I don't think so. I wasn't the one who downloaded CC, it was one of my colleagues, and they downloaded all that was available to us I'm told.
  6. Our Media department need to be able to produce DVDs. They were able to do this in Windows 7 using the Windows DVD Creator, but they cannot find a equivalent feature in Windows 10. They have Adobe CC, but looking online there isn't any authoring software that comes with it. I've looked around, found some but have no clue if they are any good or not. Could someone please recommend one that is free and works on Windows 10.
  7. Tried OBS but couldn't get it connect to youtube. followed several tutorials but it just wouldn't connect to youtube. I've had to go down the route now of Google Hangouts on Air, which seems to work fine.
  8. OBS looks great; free and lots of features.
  9. Great help. Thanks! Will look further into this.
  10. I've been given the task of figuring out how to get a camcorder to stream to youtube live. We have a camcorder and a device that allows us to record the camcorder onto a PC. We will then need to upload this live onto youtube as a live stream. I just don't know where to start looking at this. Can anyone help me out here.
