Typically you can have anything from 10 - 100 machines per Virtual Host / Server / Blade.

This is an easy one, Run windows setup from CD, enter the recver console and select your O/S Run the cmd dskchk c: /p /r This will sort the file out. D

Could it be certain document that they are printing all the time that is messing the printer up?

Its probably picking up on an old policy just enable no override on the new policy this should force the changes to be made, we had that problem a few weeks back, made a policy called folder re-direct, made the changes we wanted in GP then made it no OverRide, worked a treat! D

No because office files are only backwards compatable v2002 can open v2000 but v2000 cannot open v2002 and so on. D

A few points to try. Try restarting the spooler, run in cmd "net stop spooler && net start spooler" Also what crediential is the service starting with? Try removing the printer restarting the spooler and adding it again. Try adding the printer manually, does the same happen? Have you got the address to the printer if it is networked correct? Are the drivers up to date on both the server and workstation, if not get the latest ones! Try adding the printer if it is networked using the following rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /ga /n \\ServerName\PrinterSharedName net stop spooler && net start spooler The /GA is GloballyAdd change that to /GD to globallyDelete the printer. You can run this cmd remotely also as below: RUNDLL32 PRINTUI.DLL,PrintUIEntry /c \\MachineName /y /n "\\ServerName\PrinterSharedName" If none of them work post again with more info on server type printer type more info the better. D

Go virtual and then just allocate more space to your disk when your getting low! Even easier.

I've had many issues with K5400, including ink issues and also printing being mirrored and even though the option is turned OFF its still mirrors, I've had paper jams, broken rollers, heads not recognised, carts not recognised, I cringe when I see a new one to be installed!! D

It will depend on what media you are backing up to, I use ultrilium 4 and can do a backup of 900GB in about 21 hours. At the weekend I do a backup of the same amount of data to a NAS box in a different building and it can start friday 3pm and not finish until monday morning at 6am! D
