    We have sims runnign on a virtual Hyper-V server and its runs better than it ever did on a physical box.

    Yeah anything under 1 minute seems a acceptable time at busy periods in my eyes. were lucky we log on almost instantly, but our machines are rather new, with the excetion of some rooms that have been known to take a few minutes. D

    Have you rang your LEA and asked if there are any current issues?

    Tiny mandatory profiles FTW every time. Our logons are about 5 seconds even for a new profile pull down as everything is redirected, inc the start menu, desktop, app data, the lot. D

    Don't you feel like your rotting away, I would chuck if I ate all that sugary stuff, I'd have to do like 20k a night on the treadmill instead of the usual 10k eeeeek!!

    Works will probably still be power hungry. can you not customise the install of OpenOffice for what you want, IE the bare metal and nothing else fancy on top? D

    Good move I'd say it has a friendly GUI and is rather simple to grasp, you should get some results pretty quickly.
