My first instinct would be the RAM or CPU, I'd start by swapping out the RAM for some that I know to be good, it could be the Motherboard but as you say it is a good sign that it beeped to tell you there was no RAM.

Does that work in schools? I'd have thought they'd keep the vulnerabilities to themselves to exploit at a later date.

My Soundblaster Audigy 5.1 didn't even work in windows 10 last time I checked, I think they've give up.

We've just had a lady from Google in our school today showing us Google Expeditions, it's really good and the kids (primary) loved it, it's available on Apple devices as well as Android. I'm now in the process of adding it to all of our iPad's it's a slightly different experience without the Cardboard but still a great one to really add that extra something to a lesson. If you get the chance have them come in and demo it, the lady we had got the class teacher being the lead of the expedition after a couple minutes tutorial, they really benefited from the experience too and are really enthusiastic to get using it in class.

I've got 4 left on windows 7, 3 of them that are in the Admin office, I've had one on windows 10 in there for a while to highlight any issues, the others can probably be upgraded but I just haven't had the time yet. The only other remaining windows 7 machine is the one that controls out stage lighting, I'm too scared to upgrade that one in case the lighting system doesn't work after.

I think the whole Webscreen 2.0 interface is slow and clunky, what I wouldn't give for a way to group blocked url's together, e.g all of the various YouTube url's under one container instead of having to search though a huge long list of url's. Unfortunately I don't have the budget for anything else and if I did convincing the head to pay for something else when we have something similar already isn't going to happen, I'm not the maths co-ordinator so don't get special treatment like that.

My mum is big into family history and has traced our family back 100's of years to Irish roots, I love the idea of being able to find out about your past by looking at your DNA With regards to the video there was a lot of controversy when it was released, scientists have stated that it's impossible to trace your DNA to a specific country, so all of the results that show a person has roots in a country they don't like are put there for dramatic effect and the so called DNA expert in the video graduated university with a degree in psychology or something like that and has no expertise in genetics other than being part of the ancestry.com website. The video was also found to have used paid actors too.

Sorry to slightly move off topic but what a peoples experience with compatible lamps? Reason I ask is that I have always gone with manufacturer lamps but at £200 a pop for Smart lamps or £100 for a compatible I went with a compatible for the first time last week and it blew within 2 hours, it's been replaced FOC now and the replacement has been fine for days but I'm inclined to think it may have been a bad decision on my part.

I watched it over the weekend a thoroughly enjoyed it, I thought the opening sequence was really good and have to say I almost had a tear in my eye as May and Hammond pulled up along side Jezza to the sound of I can see clearly now. Picked up the Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 Deluxe bundle in the Xbox Black friday Sale, looking forward to finding some time to play both, Titanfall 2 more than BF1 if I'm honest.

Yep I have the same problem here, it's not much of a delay but can be frustrating.

I normally scour the web for deals, I got 4 month movies for £25 at Argos last time but most of the time I forget and it renews at full price.
