  1. You need to push the apps from Intune, you buy the apps in ASM, sync to intune and push from there.
  2. Tried using new bing just can't get on with it over google, something just isnt right. Edge on otherhand i've used as my main browser since the refresh (he says writing from chrome....)
  3. Cybermen are pest control no worries there, the real worry is mice that have been trained to race teapots Would love to go, but is 5 days after the due date!
  4. It's one of those things which you can't teach IMO, you have to do. I've seen managers (mainly at my current gaffe) who go on manager courses and come back worse than before! I've been lucky and worked under good managers (apart from Tesco) and all of those didn't go on any courses!
  5. If people had common sense we'd be out of a job!
  6. Used one in a job way back (7+ years) not heard of the place burning down so guessing its ok still!
  7. More hassle than they're worth. With projectors i stick with Epson all the time.
  8. Unsure where you're getting £25 from, it's £19 where i look. Which i agree is still pricy. I tend to go for wireless charging now anyway, which is more money but i think justifies it a bit more!
  9. Any anker usb to ethernet will do the job or the Surface Docks Unsure if the same in MDT as not used it (used to SCCM/Autopilot) but as the adapter is the same MAC each time you have to allow duplicate MAC addresses: https://www.systemcenterdudes.com/sccm-duplicate-hardware-identifiers/
  10. Have you tired the tool microsoft for converting files to .intunewin? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/apps-win32-prepare
  11. Have you tried asking Chat GPT what to do?
  12. Are you hybrid or going cloud only? There's no end to settings/configs that people would recommend. A good start is looking at Group Policy Analytics (under Devices) to see what Group policies you can move to Intune
  13. No error messages but does seem to be slower than usual.
  14. This was old job. Boarding houses were both full, i'd say around 30-40 per house. Was still in place and doing job well when i left in August. We did have 2 ptp links one for each house but often both houses had to run off one PTP (normally the BTB link)
  15. People have cleaners! I need to change role.... Hopefully one day be able to upgrade my chef to a Michelin star one.
  16. BTB will do the job, we had 2 boarding houses running off them!
  17. How fars the distance? Ubiquiti do a building to building kit which is quick and easy to setup. https://store.ui.com/products/ubb-us
  18. The Godfather. After never watching it finally got around to it last night as heard lots of good things etc. Going to be honest, don't understand the hype. It's a good film don't get me wrong, but one of the best ever made? Definitely not. Not a touch on Shawshank for me!
  19. Must have 5 years experience of changing light bulbs, Musts : Experience of Bayonets Likes to have : Experience with screw fittings
  20. I mean the appointments/events/etc in the actual calendar and not the theme.
  21. Hi Guys, Looked into this but can't find a concrete answer. User who manages a share calendar and colour codes it all, other users who access the calendar are all set to different colours. Is there anyway to sync the colour changes also?
  22. I mean it was probably a bright idea at the time, but now it's had it's spotlight it's lights out for it!
  23. Autopilot is just a method of enrolling windows into Intune and Azure AD. You can also set it to domain join the device and have it Hybrid. IIRC Microsoft recommend Hybrid currently as cloud only has its draw backs still and onsite AD only has lots of drawbacks. Last place we used Autopilot to enroll the device into local and azure AD you can then login with either a AD account or an azure AD account. Cloud only which i have at new gaffe i have had draw backs and ideally i'd do hybrid only but we have 0 onsite server infrastructure! TLDR: Hybrid is the way to go
