1. Yepp tried that, no luck! Xibo ive heard of but normally not good things! Trying Pisignage currently, as you can run it on other devices running Debian
2. Hi Guys and Girls, I'm trying to find the best way to setup the signage screens in our office (4 of them). Ideally free. I've tried using W11 in Kiosk mode managed via Intune but seem to have to login every time no matter what regedits i do. Don't mind what OS, have a ton of spare desktops to use for them
3. Having not played the game, went in without knowing what to expect. Got to say that ending... no holds barred!
4. How far south west? We used this lot : https://www.mastersrecycling.co.uk/ This was when i was based in south somerset
5. Used it a lot in my last job, very good software if you have the time to invest in setting it up. Want it at new job but not had the time to implement it yet. If you have a large switch infrasture you can see whats on each port etc, simular with servers etc.
6. Mosyle is free up to 30 units IIRC
7. Few ideas off top of my head: 1) Check if your MDM can disable it ii) Change your SSID to only allow certain MAC addresses ( i know you can spoof MACs but short term fix) c) Main one, move away from single passworded SSIDs! -) Temp SSID with guest portal 5) Don't upgrade to iOS 16 and block it.
8. If you change you're mind, im the first in line.
9. I know its boring, but i just like cheese and onion
10. If you 100% need a CCTV Doorbell, i'd avoid ring and go with a Unifi one, even more so if you already have a unifi system already
11. Things i have actually cut back on recently: Named brands to tesco's own, saves about £10 on weekly shop Cancelling various subs i dont use anymore. Redoing our sky package to save £20+ a month Not going to the food truck at lunchtime and instead having pack lunch each day. Saves about £20 a week! Takeaways, use to be tradition to have takeaway on a saturday, now we have it maybe 1-2 a month.
12. Morning All, Have a bunch of surplus HP laptops for sale. See specs below. All have been wiped with either W11 or W10 on. Just done quick maths and would like ideally like £2500 for the lot. Which is £250 a unit which i don't think is too bad seeing as most are i7 16gb models! Message me if interested Based in North Dorset if wish to pickup

HP ProBook 450 G8 i5 11th Gen 16GB 256GB

HP 250 G8 Notebook PC i7 10th Gen 16GB 256GB

HP 250 G8 Notebook PC i7 10th Gen 16GB 256GB

HP 250 G8 Notebook PC i7 10th Gen 16GB 256GB

HP EliteBook 840 G4 i7 7th Gen 8GB 512GB

HP 250 G8 Notebook PC i7 10th Gen 16GB 256GB

HP EliteBook 840 G4 i5 8th Gen 8GB 512GB

HP ProBook 440 G7 i5 10th Gen 8GB 256GB

HP ProBook x360 435 G7 Ryzen 4500U 16GB 256GB

HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 i5 7th Gen 8GB 256GB

13. Get home 5:15, Child to bed routine 5:30-6. Dinner 6:15. Rest till 9pm then bed. All main jobs get done at the weekend apart from small bits like Bins etc.
14. Had looked at it but our loft isn't very high and I'm over 6ft so a no go! Only 1 other bungalow on our road has done it and thats for a bathroom (about 15+ on our road) due to just not really worth the added space!
15. Don't you come in here with your common sense! To be honest the laptops are all sporadic and I doubt of little use as a whole lot to a school. I'll put it up anyway this PM to see if anyone is interested
16. Prefer to sell them in 1 fell swoop that individually.
17. Hi All Does anyone know a decent place to sell 15+ Laptops All are decent laptops but not of use as moving to Lenovo's with TB3, Intel 8Th Gen+ only. So I have HPs of various models and specs but are surplus to requirements!
18. Depending on kitchen size obliviously, we have a small kitchen that is being turned into a large kitchen. Which has been quoted at 10k to knock down a couple walls, level the floor and put the new kitchen in. Including cooker. With anything you get what you pay for, you could do it all yourself and buy a kitchen from IKEA and would be less than 5k id imagine! No including appliances. Also as someone who was trying to move house before the new year and it fell through, it cost us nearly 2k in just fees and a lot more in stress! We have a 3 bed bungalow and short on space with a 2nd child on the way. But we can make do easily, you can always find a way to live within your means.
19. Have a child and you'll wake up at 6am everyday without fail! We go to bed at 9pm wake up at 6am. Time to walk the dog, feed the kid and get her to nursery by 8:30!
20. exe-r-cise? What is this word? Jokes aside, i get 30mins of lunch which i work through so i don't get to go for a walk etc. I do have the option to if i want but normally happy to not. I walk the dog in the morning and constantly on the move at work anyway so get my steps in.
21. IIRC you can only get Pocket directly, rest you Hive, MF etc you have to go to a reseller
22. With laptops i think its more of aspect ratio than screen res, often said you dont need more than 1080p on a 13" screen. It's more aspect ratio for me, 3:2 seems to me a lot better on a laptop, get as much screen real estate as possible!
23. Depending on budget also there is Papercut Pocket with is relatively cheap but not full blown Papercut, they have Hive but this requires a reseller IIRC
24. Have you tried it as a PDF to see if its just word? if happening on other software i'd imagine its the rollers on the printer
25. Do you have access to a Mac? You can get the iPad into ASM via Apple Configurator and then synced with intune and the app pushed to it.
