Going to be honest, judging by your knowledge of mac hardware, go with a windows laptop. As a few of their quirks may annoy you or not what you expect. Hinge movement is what you'd think from a normal laptop that doesnt go flat. There isnt a touchscreen mac and doubt there ever will, this is a space for the iPad that Apple dont want to blur. You can use an iPad* as a second screen with sidecar though Windows laptop i'd go for a surface laptop if you're only doing office work and no gaming. *Need a M1 or above with the Mac, can't remember iPad requirements.

Like above, depends on so many things: Model of AP WiFi standard of AP and Device Amount of devices connected to AP Settings in the WiFi controller Switch Configs If theres a microwave nearby If someones stuck the AP in a faraday cage Etc Etc... I normally say though in ideal scenario should be 300 up 300 down atleast.

Had this as an on going issue, then in settings > MDM Server Assignment, i set the defaults to my MDM and havent had the same issue happen again since.

Have you tried a linux distro to see if its a windows issue?

Only had my car 4 months so not overly long, but first thing i do in any new car is go around all the settings, buttons etc to see what they do. Driving yesterday completely missed i had a fan vent just above the gear stick, vent was off, now turned on and have a nice breeze while changing gear! Edit: Picture below
