I'm not sure in the effectiveness at reducing carpal tunnel as the hand still rests on the mouse in the traditional manner and so has a 90 degree twist.

Yes, i advised someone how to replace one last weekend when their timing belt snapped. He wasn't a mechanic either. However if the head gasket has gone then the head should be measured and skimmed, something a little tricky to do on a drive.

My dreaded statement was based on 5 years as a mechanic in the motor trade and the opinions of some of the garage owners i know. A couple who refuse to work on K series.

Ex mechanic- I'd leave the car to cool and then go and have a look to see if you can see anything obvious. Check the water level, top up and run with the bonnet up, check for any obvious leaks Steam coming out of the front grille doesn't suggest the head gasket has gone and as previously stated it doesn't have the dreaded K series engines where the headgasket will fail.

PCP is usually when a company provides a company car but doesn't want the hassle of dealing with any of the car companies. They give the employee a set amount of money each month so the employee can pick any car in his budget. My friend had a car through PCP so i can ask him anything in particular if you require.

Is it just the key you require and not damage to the keyboard ? I'm pretty sure i have a CQ61 keyboard at home for keys. Which letter do you require and i'll have a look when i get home.

We've done, clay pigeon shooting, go-karting, a weekend in Blackpool, and a Saturday night on Broad Street Birmingham. Ensure he is dressed appropriately. We made the last groom wear a tutu and fairy wings.

We have 10 Macs here. Also a nightmare to get networked. The kids find them a bit easier to produce videos on as opposed to using Adobe Premier. The "industry standard" line is a bit rubbish too.

One of my customers text me at the weekend overjoyed at her new satellite connection, she can now stream cat and fail videos without buffering from YouTube. 22Mb/s she said she was getting. I can ask her who she is with etc. if required.

I was looking for a CR1225 battery yesterday with solder tabs for a laptop. Farnell sell a few coin cell batteries with solder tabs and sensible prices. There was a company that began with a V. The stand was red and they did big displays. On their stand was a clear box you could see inside but it had some sort of see through active display in the front glass.

I'm glad it wasn't just me that had issues with their recovery script. Turned out it wouldn't work with the DVD plugged in. I take it you've run checks on the memory and hard drive prior to installation ?

We spoke to them and they sent us a link to create a recovery USB stick. I'm having a look on my drives to see if i still have it somewhere.

We have an oldish 24/7 here. Windows Xp media centre. I rebuilt it last week after it failed. Uses a Asus motherboard, 6 sata drives, 3 tv cards and it runs from an IDE hard drive. Is there anything in particular you want to know?

Yes i have. It was a hard drive but they recover from everything. They are not some guy in their bedroom. There was a small fee to pay when i sent it and they looked at at then put a copy of everything that could be recovered online to look at. If you decide they can recover enough of your files you pay them the rest and they send your data to you.

Remove the motherboard from the case and have just the cpu/heatsink and memory fitted. Use a known working power supply to test. I would suspect the motherboard.- 1 reply
