  1. Generally if you're impacted by outtages / slowdowns etc and complain to your CSM you'll get an offer of SMS or Email credits in the first instance.
  2. Garageband does all of this and comes free with every iPad.
  3. Proprietary file format to AIRMusic, so I'm afraid the answer is no - nothing I know of that can read them... Ignite should have the option to export as MIDI file, and then you'll have to remap to whatever instruments in whatever replacement DAW you end up with once imported.
  4. As far as I'm aware you can't export them. You'll have to configure by hand in each instance of CloudMIS. See https://docs.bromcom.com/knowledge-base/how-to-create-an-automated-event-in-behaviour/
  5. Tis the first day of BETT today isn't it? Tradition pretty much states Bromcom slows to a crawl whilst everyone is there now. Certainly did last year as aligned with the whole "all efforts on launching & shouting about AI for BETT" whilst we were all here screaming "sod AI we didn't ask for - just fix the damn MIS". (see Page 7 of this very thread for when we were all complaining about the same thing a year ago today)
  6. Yes, you can just use the oData connector within PowerApps dataflows to bring in data from either of the two endpoints (MAT endpoint, or single school endpoint), or the FromWeb connector to bring in livefeeds etc. See https://docs.bromcom.com/knowledge-base/how-to-use-odata-with-bromcom/
  7. I take it you've already been through https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/record-keeping-and-retention-information-for-academies/record-keeping-and-retention-information-for-academies-and-academy-trusts ?
  8. Suspect they've broken it. Be careful experimenting, or you may find you create a custom code you then cannot delete! (Even tho it's only existed for all of 40 seconds)
  9. Functions for PowerQuery for handling Wonde pagination etc are all documented yonder: https://powerbiforschools.com/wonde-integration-with-power-bi-using-the-api/ PowerQuery for PowerBI vs PowerQuery for Excel - 99.999% the same thing. What works in one invariably works in the other (allbeit Excel gets far less memory per mashup container with which to work so tends to take a while vs PBI).
  10. Yup - same as @supportman
  11. 1x PowerBI Pro license. Sign in to PowerBI Desktop with that Pro-licensed account. File > Publish Log in to https://app.powerbi.com - click ... on your report's Semantic Model entry > Refresh - set up the refresh (probs need to add in Data Source Credentials further up the page). Now, configure Bromcom's shared viewer with the o365 credentials for the same Pro-licensed account at https://cloudmis.bromcom.com/Nucleus/UI/Areas/Framework/Maintenance.aspx?page=DAPRBICFG (use shared account - nb: the o365 account must not have MFA or Georestrictions enabled). Point all staff to: Modules > Analysis > PowerBI Viewer within Bromcom to view. They'll be presented with a list of all available reports in the "My Workspace" workspace of that Pro-licensed BI account. Click to open.
  12. Publish the report to the PowerBI Service, then head to https://app.powerbi.com, properties > settings ( ... button > settings) on the Report's Semantic Model in the PowerBI Service online to set up scheduled refresh. If your CSVs aren't in a cloud-accessible storage space then put them in one in a protected folder that only he can access, and then he'll need to rebuild his dataset to pull CSVs in from that cloud storage using Data > Get Data > and an appropriate connector... or you'll need to read up on installing the Personal Data Gateway and setting that up so that the BI Service can talk to your local machine holding your data. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/refresh-scheduled-refresh https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-gateway-deployment-guidance https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/paths/get-transform-data-power-bi/
  13. That wants logging with helpdesk as an issue. Sounds like something isn't mapping correctly when deployed via Vision that DOES map correctly when handled locally... (ie: auto discovery of relevant assessmenttypeid by matching name or similar) And yes, until it's fixed by helpdesk, you're gonna need to do it for all yeargroups / schools.
  14. You use a matrix visual and drag multiple fields to the axis, then enable drill down at top and drill down to all levels. Or add measures that do the count of types as tooltips... Many diff ways to do it depending on your model / table and how the data it contains is structured. Have you created a Dimension table of all the different (unique) doughnut types available in the column (duplicate your query, remove excess columns, remove duplicates to give you a top level list), and related it to that column? If so, then you'd drag the "name" col from that Dimension table onto the matrix (for instance). Screenshots of how you currently have the visual setup showing available fields of your table etc would be helpful. Most folks' initial problems getting to grips with PowerBI can be solved by wandering thru Power BI fundamentals training at MS Learn using their sample data etc... https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/paths/model-data-power-bi/
  15. Probably down to the assessment types, terms, subjects & gradesets. Do they all exist at all schools with the same name and the same AssessmentTypeID / Term ID / Subject ID etc? Did they exist prior to deployment or were you relying on deployment to make them? If you head to each relevant area, has it created all the types etc you'd expect it to have created if they didn't already exist? When you head to a local school and edit one of the marksheets, edit a column and reselect the assessment type & term, does that column on that sheet start working? Is there only one choice of type / term or has the deployment process recreated and therefore duplicated types? We only use central deployment for the system generated wizard-based bits (ie: Primary Tracker / EYFS / Formative / Summative) not for our own Assessment marksheet setup, as whenever we've tried it it's failed similarly - never really delved any deeper into investigating it as only 2x secondaries here so quicker to just do manually.
  16. Head to Vision, find the account your PowerBI reports use the odata credentials of. Find what Role within Vision it's using. Make a new role giving full drilldown tier access and assign to that, or amend the existing role. Save. Refresh PowerBI report. Problem should go away. This only looks like the start of sorting out application of permissions to oData... EG: Setting Staff and Student Personal to disabled on the Vision role, names get asterisked in Staff and Students tables. But... LastPreviousName, NINumber & WorkEmail still viewable in Staff. Setting everything to School Level only... can still see BankAccountNames in StaffBankingDetails, full StaffDataAudit table
  17. Edit Role of the vision user you're authing as over in Vision - https://vision.bromcom.com/Administration/Roles If Student Personal ID is red in the drilldown tier, click it to enable it, switches to green. Data immediately returns to Vision table. Cannot then switch it back to red again. Toggle only works one way. CORRECTION: UI/UX elements... to deselect Student Personal ID (ie: to make drilldown tier stop at Student Anonymous), click Student Anonymous. From 2018 til now, this drilldown tier has only impacted what happens in the Vision UI, not what you see via oData. Now it impacts oData too. A silent fix to a years old problem. It should NOT have been a silent fix. It should have been a confession of "we've discovered and we're fixing on xx/xx/xx at xx:xx - here's what you need to be aware of and account for by that date to stop your reports from breaking once we make the change" via one form of communication or another, with links to screenshots and relevant areas impacted.
  18. @Bezingatron - Stop. This is nothing you as a user has done. Bromcom have broken something. The same is happening for everyone. @Bromcom_John - your guys have thoroughly broken something, causing a bigger issue called LACK of visibility of data, via a Vision Students table loaded with asterisks. CAS-376972-K1R9Z3 I can imagine a pile of MAT Directors being rather miffed about the interruption to their half-term holiday on the first day.
  19. Try it with “ends with” and it’ll fail across the board. Does across 6x Bromcom instances here using either UPN or Adm
  20. Starts with & Contains work. Ends with does not.
  21. Our smaller secondary (no sixth form) is recruiting for a fulltime Data Manager (due to retirement of current DM). Scale SO1 (£32-34k). Running Bromcom & 4Matrix. Closing Date 18th October.
