Back in today, quick status check on everything to see if its all okay and sort out the things needed for Monday that have started trickling in over my holiday break.. so happy I was sent it all before I took annual leave!

Wasn't handed to me, but when I was clearing out the store room over the summer break, I found an old inkjet cartridge that had a "best before" of 2000!

*Sirens wail I have received my first Christmas Card from a member of staff!!! They totally didn't even spell my name wrong!

Go round to sort problems in reception, few other offices etc and minimum of 3-4 cards on each desk... me with 1 card from a random student who just comes in the office now and then..! Was chatting to the site team when someone comes in with a box of chocolates and says thanks to them! I just sat there twiddling my thumbs!

Finish this Friday as soon as I can sneak off..! Last minute stocking filler shopping on Monday followed by making the Gingerbread House (x2 this year!) for Mum, Friends round for a Christmas gathering on our new house on 23rd, Chill out Christmas Eve morning \ Day, then go to close family friends in the evening as we've done for the last 20 years! Christmas Day - Round at parents, they currently have a live in house with their job and are retiring after 10 years there, so having "One last Christmas"! Boxing day - extended family round! Relax up until the 2nd when I'm back in!

Just don't use Whitening toothpaste!

I think you can get a PAYG SIM for Priority Moments - keep meaning to do this myself as sometimes they have quite good deals on!

After almost 10 years, "Orange Wednesdays" are ending! Thanks for a few first dates when I was a teenager!!! Now back to paying full price, doh!

Hi all, A few of our case fans (60mm) are starting to get a bit noisy, and a few arguably could start to become a distraction in the classroom. Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to buy components from? If not will just get them from eBuyer! Cheers, J

Do you know if she is photosensitive? According to Epilepsy Action only 3% of people who have epilepsy suffer from the photosensitive trigger. It may be a case of you don't need to do anything as she's not photosensitive.

Whilst you're ill it might be worth you recording coughs / sneezes. When you're better pop a pair of speakers near the door and play your recordings every 2-3 minutes! Might work till the Christmas break if you're lucky..

Nothing to add to this thread, but wanted to just say it's really useful for me as we're thinking of redoing our kitchen in a year or 2! Dad will be retired and the Mrs' Dad is a leccy / handyman and they've fitted kitchens before, so between us we can do it ourselves!

Finished shopping for the Mrs! (Well excluding her Christmas Stocking, but that's basically chocolate, wine, bath bombs / lip stuff!) Brother done, now just the folks!

If I'm away camping with Scouts etc then I'll get out on of these bad boys
