Will probably take apart again, dry the whole area up and put a bit of putty on it too. Was planning on using something along these lines.

Destructions told me to hand tighten then do 1/4turn with whatever the right tool is then Is extremely slow but from fitting / cistern! fitting and supply fitted with PFTE (Or PTFE) tape whichever one it is!

Replaced all last night, all working but need to borrow a proper pair of pliers to tighten it up properly!

Hi all, Noticed a hissing sound in the cistern this morning, took the lid off and instead of being a decent trickle / stream of water from the fill valve thingy it's just spraying out a fine mist! Still fills up (eventually..!) and stops, however it is way to slow to be useful, and I don't think the Mrs' would fancy filling it up with a bucket! (Doesn't mind as long as there is a fix in sight!) I've had a look on a few forums and spoken to my Dad, who unfortunately can't pop over for a while, and we've come to the conclusion it's most likely a diaphragm. Do you think it's worth taking it apart, trying to find the right diaphragm (Approx £3-4) and putting back together, or just getting a new entry fill valve like this (assuming it's the right one, I would take old one out and take it with me!!!) All new to this DIY malarky! Cheers for any help! J

Hi all, Does anyone have any experience of playing around with Microlib? I'm trying to update the year groups of our students - I haven't worked out how to do it in bulk yet (Aside from selecting / flagging multiple and then updating their year groups - however this would mean I then have to sort out new / old year groups!) Am still looking for a way so may find it! Cheers, J

So the package that was signed for and delivered yesterday morning turned up this afternoon.. Dad said the bloke came in, just grunted and declined when Dad offered to sign for the parcel!

I know it's not eBuyers fault, their service has always been good for me but grr! Will they learn though?

They currently can't provide me with the signature as it was a "manual delivery" signed for on paper..! Have also realised the time it takes to get to / from the depot from our house is longer than when it was signed out of the depot to the time of "delivery"!

I've phoned eBuyer and they've just done the same as me and phoned Yodel, so currently waiting to hear back from either of them. My parents were at home all day so would have been able to take the delivery so I can't prove no one was there!
