  1. Small donation bump
  2. Smart shoes / trousers / shirt - tie optional. School hols, whatever we want within reason.
  3. Not quite BTL, but my Dad saved / inherited to rest to purchase himself a 2up 2down terraced house in Surrey to let (He brought it outright). He goes through an estate agent to manage it - the only thing he doesn't use them for is maintenance, instead he goes round and fixes stuff. His current job comes with a live in house, so for the duration he's been working in his current job our family house has been let. Again same deal with estate agents managing it with him providing maintenance. Both sets of his tennants have been good and provided no issues. When he retires next year and only rents a single house out, he will be taking home almost double what I get per month! Only thing I can think of is stuff like boiler certs. From my perspective, if you can afford to BTL then I think you should invest in it.

    World Cup!

We were holding a sweepstake here.. We pulled numbers out of a hat, and after everyone had a number the guys organizing it matched the number to a team. Turns out I drew out .... New Zealand! In the end the sweepstake was cancelled as no one could agree on how to redo it! People with Spain / Brazil / Argentina obviously didn't want to redraw, whereas people like myself wanted a redraw as we would be left with the teams that "only just made it in" kind of thing! Hoping England get to the semis, think Brazil will win with home advantage + used to humidity / heat.

  8. Thanks for all the replies - we're hoping to install PaperCut NG over the half-term break, and then leave it monitoring for the last half term, and then with info in this thread in mind too work out with SLT & Finance what everyones quotas should be!
  9. In our school (Secondary, Approx 700 pupils) we currently have no print management, but are looking into implementing PaperCut. One of the points we're not overly sure on is the amount of credit to give pupils (and possibly staff!) - our current line of thinking is if we implement PaperCut and monitor it for a period of time, i.e. a term, then try to work out possible credit allocation from the findings. If you run a print management solution could you tell me how much credit you give your users! (And also what it equates to i.e. 1 credit = single greyscale page, 4 credits = full colour page etc)? Cheers! Eyetea
  10. We use QC Supplies - our finance team passed us a letter informing us of the takeover, and in the letter it detailed our new acc number + the sales phone number. Their service is alright (A few cartridges sent in error here and there) and their pricing seems quite competitive. Glad to know the lack of biscuits doesn't just affect us however!
