That's what we did. SIMS: you have to tick the box in curriculum assignment over two blocks instead of one. Reporting and assessment, make sure the person who setups marksheets and profiles is aware, so they only tick one of the classes instead of both.

The easiest way is to treat them like two classes and set them up as such in each. Using sub blocks within the block will get very messy very quickly.

I have 41 APs running around 650 clients at any one time. Most of them are Full Windows domain machines. In a Zone (a large Teaching space for 3 class team teaching, 3 classrooms and an office for staff) I have 3 APs, 2 Pros and an in Wall Pro that usually have around 80-100 clients between them and they seem to perform well. Again, my improvements from my move from our Meru system could be put down to going from 802.11n APs to 802.11ac APs and having AC cards already there in the laptops as they have been consistently cheaper than AGN cards for the past 3 years or so. I did once have the entire network pull down a 1.2gb Windows 10 cumulative update from a WSUS server and that did cause an issue for a bit of time, including the WSUS server sharing storage with a DC and Print server, all separate VMs but share host storage, but that would be the same with any manufacturer

Lite's use Unifi's own PoE standard, so if you do not get them with their injectors, you need the in line step down for them to work. The Pro and ProHD and all the in wall ones use standardised PoE, so they will work for a straight swap with other APs most of the time.

AC-Pro and HD deffo use standard PoE+ that the Meru APs use, the Long Range doesn't though.

We replaced the AP320s with Unifi AC-Pro APs, they use the standard PoE. No switch replacement yet, changes Cisco ports to trunk with a native VLAN. Was running both side by side while migrating

We did the switch from Meru this year. Really wouldn't look back. I replaced 50aps with 41 (mostly AC Pros but some in wall pros too) Finding it much easier than meru I was also getting APs for like £116 each. And they were the pros

After a lot of cabin fever kicking in, I ended up watching A Goofy Movie on Disney Life. Actually not a bad movie.

And we are shut too, I had to send out the text and email, but ironically I do not have access to the website to do that and someone else has to (no skin off my nose). bad news is I have book of mormon tickets for tonight!!!!!

Try deleting the "My SIMS Documents" and "tempSimsRpt" folders from the user's home drive/My Documents as well, seen them do funny things

I got confirmation back from Ubiquiti that I should be able to do what is needed with the EdgeSwitch version. ES-16-XG I am going to have the US-16-XG centrally for my servers and the other switches to go into (so I can view traffic stats through the console) then I am going to have an SPF+ lead to the EdgeSwitch and then from there into our ISPs "Router"

I am posting this here to help a lot of people. I have been struggling, since September, to solve an issue where students could press the wireless button on a HP ProBook 4340s Laptop and put it into Airplane mode but then could not turn it back on again. I tried NetSH commands, but when airplane mode is active it couldn't see the interfaces. Finally I found a solution. There is a driver in Device Manager for the Wireless Button. I have disabled this from working by doing the following, MAKE SURE YOU TEST IT FIRST In group policy go to: Computer config --> Admin Templates --> System --> Device Installation --> Device Installation Restrictions Prevent installation of devices using drivers that match these device IDs: Click "Enabled" Under Options: Click "Show..." Then I added the Device ID for the HP wireless button (which is tucked away in Human Interface Devices in Device Manager), the HID for this is ACPI\VEN_HPQ&DEV_6001 - Yours may be different so please check this in Device Manager on the client. Check off "Also apply to matching devices that are already installed"

Just to warn that there are signalling problems on the DLR in the Limehouse area. Maybe best to get the jubilee line to canning town if you are coming up from the south.
