  1. Nice. You gonna start to cut though soon? I'm thinking about it, not reached my bulk goal yet but getting a bit tired of having a flabby gut.
  2. I understand what your saying, just that in my opinion windows 8 in any guise is an unnecessary upgrade in schools. Windows 7 64bit does the job fine and i'll move to windows 10 when I have to in a few years. No need to upgrade just because the latest is out. Whilst I do agree that windows 8.1 performs best and has great features, the gains are too small to warrant the upgrade effort. Ps: not confrontational at all, just a discussion
  3. You say spare users the pain by not upgrading windows 7 to 64bit, yet suggest windows 8.1? Windows 8 in any iteration will probably cause users pain. Skip 8, wait for 10 IMHO.
  4. Absolute over kill for a primary school. A decent spec tower server with hyper v will do that job. Is he/she suggesting virtual sessions so he can charge a fortune to train and repair it when it breaks?
  5. If the machine has over 4GB of RAM then 32bit windows won't be able to work with it and it's just wasted.
  6. That's really good, that's what I do for 5 reps, i'm probably a fair bit taller than you at 6 foot odd but that's really impressive.
  7. Sounds like you need to look into a Mobile Device Management setup(MDM). It may take some time to set it up, but you can then lock down the devices so that students can't change the wallpaper, disconnect the wireless, delete app's and you can remotely install apps. As for the video files, Your best bet is some cloud based sync software and educating the teachers a little.
  8. Unifi in all our schools. Cannot fault them, super easy to set up. So easy I bet a teacher could do it.
  9. I agree. Fast response and they seem to have their act together. Which is quite worrying for people like me..
  10. If anyone else has to do this, here's an update: If you give BT LS a static IP they will create a webport which is a URL that links to the that IP address. Really happy with the way they are getting this done. Thought it would be a nightmare.
  11. The OS will be free to install for yourself (home user), but OEM's will still have to pay to preload the OS on the machine. So MS will continue to make a large revenue just on PC sales. Enterprise will still have to buy licenses obviously. Most home users who install their own OS would pirate windows anyway so why not make it free but keep the OEM's paying. The more users using windows then more it has a grip hold on the market and more potential customers for the business sector and even sell subscription models (O365) to home users.
  12. Is 2simple 2email not suitable? We have it somewhere but we've never actually used it so no idea if it suits your needs at primary level.
  13. By hacked, do you mean they know the password of other students?
  14. I'd say you could be right. After hours diagnosis is probably your best bet.
  15. Nice, that'd be great. I'm trying to stretch my legs as much as possible at the minute as i want to join a jujitsu club soon!
  16. We need to this to the schools website which is external. This is why i'm a bit stuck!
  17. Afternoon everyone! The head has asked me to set up a webcam showing chicks hatching from their eggs. She wants the video feed (live) on the website so they can watch from home. How do i got about setting this up with CLEO / BT LS. I'll have a fixed internal IP address from the cam, but not sure what to do with or what to ask BT LS to do with the router. Port forwarding? Anyone set up anything like this before at primary? Thanks!
  18. Ahh yeah that's much to go on. Have a look in the application logs, other than that, I'm not too sure.
  19. Have you had a look in event viewer to see if it offers any more clues?
  20. Feel your pain. My squat is poor, just recently stripped bar back down to 100kg just to clean my form up. A bit on the lanky side at over 6ft so my squats and deads are something I struggle with. I need to stop my cardio so my weight can balloon and get my strength up, but I'm torn between my swimming and weight training. Being in a rut sucks. What is your bench atm?
  21. Made it look easy! 115kg is a serious amount! Better than all most all the guys in my gym. Seriously.
  22. How did you go on with your comp? I'm trying to bulk but hardly ate this weekend as I've basically been hungover all the time. Need to hit 80kgs soon!
  23. Just remember, over longer distances your pace may drop off. For example, I swim a mile in 30 minutes, but I can't do 2 miles in an hour. Running has less resistance obviously so pace over distance may be completely different. Sounds like your doing really well and are on top of your routine!
  24. If your really sacred about the video being shared or saved and moved onto some other site it's probably best that you don't upload it anywhere. Once a video is online no matter what the privacy settings are there are always going to ways it can be shared or downloaded.

So why are the drivers saying it's "Driveability" is worse than last year? Just software changes? Horner is saying that they are 100bhp down right now, but he doesn't mention that its the old design.
