We're not using any upstream protection, I don't know about them. As far as I can tell, they're M365 email and the MX records look good.
-
Have you ever received email from them successfully? Not to my knowledge. Can you email them OK? Apparently no. Although no errors our side going that way. Is something actually listening on port 25 of that IP (31.221.81.58)? No idea, not my IP range.

Can anyone recommend a reliable Microsoft Licence Reseller?
Rob_D replied to kwatt's topic in Licensing Questions
We've use https://www.dmsystem.co.uk/ for our licensing and they've been pretty good helping us along a similar path. -
We're not receiving emails from a specific domain. Two different email accounts from the same external domain show the below error and then fail delivery. The error appears to happen after Our mailflow rules have applied. The error's we're seeing are: Reason: [{LED=450 4.4.315 Connection timed out [Message=Socket error code 10060] [LastAttemptedServerName=31.221.81.58] [LastAttemptedIP=31.221.81.58:25] [SmtpSecurity=-2;-2] [AM7PEPF0000004F.eurprd07.prod.outlook.com 2026-04-22T13:43:42.570Z 08DEA0458C12BEF3]};{MSG=Socket error code 10060};{FQDN=31.221.81.58};{IP=31.221.81.58. OutboundProxyTargetIP: 31.221.81.58. Everything I can find points to a misconfigured server link or firewall, but we're Office 365 with no on-site exchange server and emails from other domains don't have the problem.

Currently moving from Horizon Cloud to Evonx. They did keep telling us that Evonx can do tannoy announcements through the phones.

Another Bodet here.. Not sure who did the original install (before my time), but we've done subsequent updates/additions in-house.

Personally, I felt like it was more a case of trying to explain in more technical detail, but for a less technical audience. (I very much had the impression this was pitched for office managers)

Normally, Entra joined devices are cloud only, while Hybrid are devices synced from your local AD. Device writeback (or whatever it's called now) can create entries for Entra devices in your local AD, but AFAIK it behaves more like a local cache and to be able to actually manage the devices in AD they would need to be hybrid joined (which in theory autopilot should be able to do).

Since Chrome updated to 147.0.7727.102 we've had problems with the Office 365 webapps not loading in Chrome. Is anyone else seeing this? Has anyone found a fix beyond using Edge and hoping a new update will fix it soon?

We just copied the link from teh Logon with Microsoft button. It's worked pretty reaibaly for us for the last couple of years.

We're talking about Paradise, right? The show runners have said in interviews that they had the whole 3-season arc worked out from the start.

Depends on the author/publiser. Amazon leaves it up to them to have DRM turned on or off as they like. From what I've seen big/mainstream publishers probably wont. Smaller publishers/self pubbed authors might. Back in January, Amazon made changes so that if the book is DRM free you can download epub or pdf versiosn. I can only immagine this had led to feiwer smaller publishers/self pubbed authors choosing to go DRM free.

As far as I can remember, if you send an email, and the recipient has the MCAS app then it will come through as an MCAS message.

We find that if the PC is turned on while the IWB is turned off (or the IWB is turned off) then Windows automatically reverts to "PC screen only", but doesn't automaitcally go back to extended/duplicate when the IWB is turned on.

If i try to open it in OWA it just downlaods to my PC again. The rpmsg is an attachement on a DLP alert email.

Does anyone know how I can open a .rpmsg file? I've tried in classic and new outlok and OWA and it doesn't open. If I download it, it doesn't even show Outlook as an option to open the email. I've tried opening it in the Information Protection Viewer and it says that it's not compatibile.

Best option is a combination of buy bigger hard drives for computers that have lots of users and regular deletion of older profiles (can be scripted/semi-automatic)

Keyword monitoring of obvious spelling mistake
Rob_D replied to Bantams03's topic in Educational Software
We have monitoring on all the school comptuers regardless. It depends on the system, but with the Securus setup we use, we can have exclusions for specific apps/sites, like not caputring from CPOMS or recapturing the securus alerts. -
We use local profiles but with Desktop/Start Menu and My Docs redirected to network shares. Start menu and Desktop is shared read only, and My Docs goes to the users home drive (although we're pushing most things to OneDrive, there's still some things that windows wants local, like Downloads). This seems to work pretty well for us (although first logins can take a bit longer). If you want staff to be able to customise their deskops then you could just redreicte them all to the user's home drive. So Professor X gets his desktop from \\server\Share\ProfX\Desktop and his my docs from \\server\share\ProfX\Documents and so on. Then when Magneto logs in (sorry couldn't help myself), he gets his own desktop/documents at \\server\sahre\magneto\...

Maybe. I type the site ID in and press # and the line goes dead. Tried 3 or 4 times now. 😟
