  1. Good Morning, Can anyone recommend a good Micrsoft Licence reseller please as our current one is trying to make us pay double for A3 and A1 licences. We’re currently on legacy M365 A1 (OVP) with on‑prem AD/servers. Looking to move staff to M365 A3, keep on‑prem for now, and move gradually into the cloud. We need desktop + online Office and Intune, without overlapping licences. Our current supplier is advising options that effectively have us paying for Office twice, or waiting until cloud‑only. Any recommended suppliers who are happy to move us off legacy licences and onto CSP licensing properly? Thanks
  2. Thank you both for your input! Based on what you've shared, it seems like SIMS Next Gen might not be the best fit for us right now, so I’ll focus more on exploring Arbor and Bromcom. Does anyone here have direct experience using either Arbor or Bromcom? I’m particularly interested in how these systems handle HR, payroll, and invoicing, as well as any insights into costs and overall ease of use. Any additional feedback would be really appreciated! Thanks again!
  3. **Subject**: Advice Needed on MIS Options as Hosted SIMS Ends with Scomis in March 2025Hi all, I'm looking for some advice on MIS options as we face changes in our setup. We are a primary school in Plymouth, currently running hosted SIMS with Scomis, which I believe is linked to Devon County Council. Recently, we’ve been informed that Scomis must stop hosting SIMS by March 2025, as it’s no longer allowed. This leaves us with three main options:1. Stay with Scomis but switch to **Bromcom** or **Arbor**.2. Move directly to ESS and adopt **SIMS Next Gen**.We use HR, payroll, and invoicing functionalities in hosted SIMS, which, as I understand, aren’t yet available in SIMS Next Gen. Additionally, I believe Arbor requires an additional fee for finance-related modules, though I’m not entirely sure about Bromcom’s setup. If any schools have gone through a similar transition, I’d love to hear about your experiences, particularly:- Which MIS option you chose- The functionality coverage (especially HR, payroll, and invoicing)- Cost considerations Any insights or feedback would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance!
  4. Thankyou so much guys, i got in touch with our license provider and we do qualify for the free M365 Apps licenses so all is good. Thanks again for your help.
  5. Hi, My primary school is currently using the free office 365 A1 for faculty license's and office 365 A1 plus for staff to use the office desktop apps. To prepare for August 1st when the A1 plus license disappears I have been looking for the cheapest option to allow staff to still use the desktop apps. I think my choices are either office 365 A3 for faculty or Microsoft Apps for faculty, does anyone know what the differences between these two license's are? Any guidance will be much appreciated.
