do you run your own webservers? Check they havent been breached and spewing out mails from your domain, albeit unsigned etc
-
its all done in asm, they basically send you a custom app that gets assigned to your account in asm and becomes assignable, no idea how theyd licence or one off charge it - presumable they would sell you some bulk licences on a one off or annual payment or they remove the app? over covid the LGFL assigned us their web filter app in this fashion
-
if its a must have contact the company, some will send private apps you buy from them.
-
theyd be getting told they cant have the iaps then the subscription stuff is complete
-
apps should be deploted through managed deployment and licenced through your mdm and ASM. IAPs cant be bought in a managed fashion either - most education focused apps have a "no iap, everything unlocked" edition. id disable any account/app stores on the devices themselves either way so they cant be used as play things and a rogue appleid

speak to schools broadband, they should be able to chuck a vlan on your actual router, set a dhcp helper to your main dc and let you just create a scope there to feed the vlan and make this not a crap show to deal with next year- 1 reply

i mean, why dont we just go back to a phone directory but for emails! i wonder if you could set to/cc threshholds and convert to bcc to stop bulk accidents, anything internal going to large groups should be a mailing list in most cases

do you have the right driver on the mobility server? ive made the mistake of installing the 450i driver instead of the c450i (C=COLOUR)

PaperCut MF Printing Popups to Confirm Colour Usage
DGardiner replied to HereIGoAgain2601's topic in How do you do....it?
might be worth checking if its possible to get the embeded software to auto select thew greyscale conversion? https://www.papercut.com/kb/Main/HowToSaveOnColorToner/ then they can just uncheck it on the device if colours required? -
Id say trust your gut, realisticly you dont need the capacity you expect you do. We Had 16SC for 13 schools/300 Handsets and the only time we have ever had capacity issues was doing parents evening over the phone in covid - after which we bumped it upto 32SC, the licencing is fairly flexible so if you need to jump up atleast in our case it was pro-rated

you can evangelise apple and jamf all you like, my quote litterally says new licences 6.50 renewal licence 9 clearly seperated
-
im with JTRS at the minute, was with XMA for 2-3 years prior until they did exactly what im getting to now my renewals are at 1 rate and my new additions are at 6.50. guess ill have to look to shift again
-
bare in mind Jamf like to increase the prices once youre stuck in.... Were upto £9 a seat because you only get the 6.50 the first year round apparently and were 4-5 years down the line. That or i need to threaten to leave again unless they transfer my licence to another company with bid pricing. that said id be hard pressed to switch jamf is great

when everyone said it was a DLC i expected its a code in a box, or a code with an old version on a disk - resale killed!
-
from what i understand MW3 is just a DLC for MW2, chances are the disks empty or a not full installer anyway
