just thinking more stuff like chromeos updates realisticly thats probably our biggest issue now, after haf term when the kids get in the schools and all turn on their chromebooks its hamering the internet (ive got an order in to raise the lines to 1gb but isp are dragging their feet)

how much will this scale though, looking at our smoothwall vm with 40 cores there either seems to be only one thread in use and not much spread around

NVME + 4gb internet and the machine has ram to spare, just trying to squeeze some extra performance!

So just updated our smoothwall and this has appeared - or atleast ive not noticed it before? Is there any reason not to just max the cache out (2Gb)? any recomended values here

Theyre not complicated.... setup group, add members turn off conversation history unless required, configure options on google groups and never touch again...

admins can always send to groups, has the user got an admin roles? not sure which does it

We have google browser istory disabled to try and avoid this

use the ipads in shared mode and federate with 365? they will logout as soon as they lock?

if its a direct print printer you need to send one job for it to be added to the papercut database, it should then show up in the admin panel

run the clients locally? teams over rdp seems silly

presumably thats your ISP dns, bin it and fire it all at google, may need to reboot to unupset whatevers broken

how about your dns? are you using the internal dns, forwarding external to a decent provider? google/cloudflare then setting up your conditionals for the internal domains? the facct your external dns isnt workign but internal is would have me ast somethings a miss there, maybee a bad isp dns server? or you sending stuff back internal to external lookups

hows your dns configured? in network settings advanced what is your syn backlog/arp table size set to? i remember having to adjust one of these a few years back for similar reasons

ive had this the last week with some new pcs I ended up having to go to the advanced display settings and then dropped the fps one setting at a time till it synced up ok. cant remember the exact one that worked but it was 59.something

the guest portal shouldnt trigger invalid SSL by defaultjust turn the ssl off? worst case someone captures a guest voucher thats already consumed

id double check current specs, but fairly sure the macbooks only support one external display, not sure if this has changed with recent hardware

for the cert to work from MDM The ipad must be supervised, and deployed via MDM otherwise the user needs to go an manually trust the cert

on your smoothwall find the page where you set which ssl cert the admin interface uses and make sure its under your CA youre currently using/deployed - you may need to set it so that its delivering the admin interface via the internal url so the hostname matches the cert etc

ive never had any issues with rosetta, the first time i needed it it asked for install and ive never had anything not work?

its pretty jank, but i can pass the basic CFA over if you want to play with it. not being too familiar with the 3cx CFA, i cant remember which project i used but i had a few, I created a paging group with the target phones in then made a DR and inserted my tone as the prompt message with a 30s timout and then made a CFA to make the DR call the paging group. Dial the CFA number and This results in the DR message being played to the paging group then it hangs up. We even wanted to go as far as paying someone to develop the idea further and make sure its done right for our needs but struggled to find any 3cx people who would

Weve been messing around with 3cx using a Call Flow App, i can tap a button on my phone and it plays a tone out of every handset in the school - seems to work in the test school!

If you pussh out a supervision profile to all ipads and have this profile installed on your laptop AC2 should be able to connect without device approval - not tested this so cant confirm but thats the whole point of the supervision profile

They have just recently launched PDQ Connect which is $12 per endpoint per year, with unlimited technicians though if thats more palatable
