The doctor said, “You’ve either got dyslexia or arthritis. I want you to go home and look up dyslexia in the dictionary. If you can find it, you've got arthritis!”

Care to elaborate? We have never had any issues with ours, does what it says on the tin!

We have a couple of these in different buildings and use Macrium Reflect to backup. A relatively inexpensive solution that works fine. Buffalo Linkstation Mini 2TB NAS (LS-WSX2.0TL/R1EU) - www.misco.co.uk

A man received the following text from his neighbour: I am so sorry Bob. I've been riddled with guilt and I have to confess. I have been tapping your wife, day and night when you're not around. In fact, more than you. I'm not getting any at home, but that's no excuse. I can no longer live with the guilt and I hope you will accept my sincerest apology with my promise that it won't happen again. The man, anguished and betrayed, went into his bedroom, grabbed his gun, and without a word, shot his wife and killed her. A few moments later, a second text came in: Damn autocorrect. I meant "wifi", not "wife".

If you are ever in the New Forest when they have a cull, the local butchers are stuffed with venison, burgers, sausages.

A man kills a deer and takes it home to cook for dinner. Both he and his wife decide that they won't tell the kids what kind of meat it is, but will give them a clue and let them guess. The kids were eager to know what the meat was on their plates, so they begged their dad for the clue. Well, he said, ‘It’s what mommy calls me sometimes'. The little girl screams to her brother 'Don't eat it, it's an @sshole.

Is there any identification that SP1 is installed? I've installed it manually on a server and I can't see any difference. If I go into "About Word" it doesn't say SP1 anywhere. Edit: Just seen SkyDrive has changed to OneDrive so something's happened.

@Bradlys have they still got that circuit training course around the park? A few circuits would set you up fine. -
We had some construction work done and when some panels were removed there was the original 1956 wallpaper.

Still on track for a silver, that's pretty good.

It really depends on the mess. Is it the infrastructure or documentation or both? North, East, South or West of Brum?

How do you carve a wooden duck? Get a lump of wood and cut away all the bits that don't look like a duck.

We have a Humax Freesat box in Portugal (which is now pretty much redundant because the spot beam on the new Astra satellite doesn't reach the Algarve). It's Freeview we are looking for.

Whilst visiting us recently, my aging mother in law saw our Panasonic Freeview recorder and said she would like something similar. Can anyone recommend a recorder that would be easy to operate, so that she can record her "soaps". She's not afraid of technology, so an extra controller won't phase her (unlike her daughter). She would want to pay under £200. I appreciate there are lot of options available but I was hoping for a personal recommendation. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ben, Did you have a "massive" 16Kb RAM module for your ZX81, that you had to wedge against a large book because it was too heavy for the connector?
-
Plenty. That was my thought to start with and if I reduced the number of file right down, it seemed to work but that might be a coincidence as it has been intermittent. I'm planning to run checkdsk on them to see if there's something untoward that's making the drive look full.

I'm still seeing this problem. I tried changing, the scheduled time and that failed. Now the other NAS has failed. If I run it manually it's fine. I've looked on the Macrium forum and some other guy has an almost identical issue, which Macrium cannot help with. Could it be time to change the backup software?
