I want to start getting stuff together for the recycling people but the storeroom is full of old fluorescent tubes. Does anyone know a relatively cost-effective way of getting rid of them (legally )

I have a barcode reader app on my phone that can help with the unreadable serial numbers. I've also found the camera useful for serial numbers that are hard to get at like Smartboards.

Our previous HT disliked the use of Sir or Miss and preferred the pupils to use Mr/Mrs/Miss. Our new SENCO likes the pupils in her domain to use Sir or Miss and does so herself. I've just about got used to her calling me Sir. Funny thing is that the SEN kids seem more comfortable using Sir or Miss.

My wife has a netbook. The lithium cell needs replacing but they have made it as difficult as possible to get to it.

When I retire in a couple of months I'd like to keep my laptop. It's a Stone NT310 i5. Is £50 too much?
