putting one of our TAs 1997 wedding video onto dvd. I've remembered why I never dance at weddings. There are going to be a few red faces when it reaches family and friends.

School use of music on a dvd to sell to parents

I look for Creative Common stuff on soundclick.com. I've found some interesting variations on a theme for example I always email the musician and give them credits. Even when it's not Creative Common I've never had a refusal for non-commercial stuff. Usually, they are chuffed that their music is appreciated. My wife says the my background music can be overpowering, so I have started to compose my own using Ejay. Even a simple drum rhythm can produce a great effect. -
I was at Faro airport on Friday and went to the Boingo.com site. Without even registering I had access to my Gmail account.

Christian Horner seems to have lost that smug expression as well.

Watched the qualifying on a German channel. Interesting how the commentators' tone when mentioning Hamilton is different to what I'm used to

I prefer Silk but they are both pretty silly.

It looks like a bucket mine to me. They were buried by subversive Lancastrians in the War of the Roses. -
+1 for the Smart speakers. One less thing for them to plug in the wrong socket!

When I was stationed at RAF Lyneham in the early 70s, we used to get people bringing their domestic appliances for repair. We could order any part as long as it was in the manuals that covered the equipment we maintained. If we needed a part we couldn't get, we used to go over to the C130 simulator section. They used everything.

Slow opening of Office files on Server 2012R2
laserblazer replied to CraigM's topic in Windows Server 2012
Is it just Office files that are slow. http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-server-2012/126721-server-2012-file-server-suddenly-stops-serving-requests-but-otherwise-looks-fine.html is a thread on a similar subject but the problem seems to be more intermittent with most of the people who are seeing it. -
We don't supply TAs with a computer, so do they count when calculating the number of Full Time Employees? Most of them are on a 25 hour week contract.
