Lettuce leave it there shall we?

I've been trying to get into my webmail since early morning and this is all I see! Oops, sorry! There seems to be an issue with our site - you might not be able to access all of our services right now. We're working hard to fix the problem, but don't worry we're still here to help.

Just tested and it works well. Firewire into camcorder and AV out to a 19" TV. Premier Pro set to output playback to the DV device. I now have a WYSIWYG display and it gives a mch more accurate colour rendition and how the titles will appear.

Trouble with cable ties is that as soon as you have them all fitted, the psu dies. I should have mentioned that we had no budget at all for the trunking and managed to get the guttering on Buildings. It was a fraction of the cost of pukka wire cages.

and I came across a couple of books Microsoft MSDOS 6.2 Users Guide O'Reilly - Windows Server 2003 in a Nutshell. Before I consign them to the big black bag, are they of use to anyone?

Electrocute a few kids into the bargain - a triple whammy

Sorry, it's not a brilliant photo. The wires are a bit untidy because that's how the PAT tester left them and I haven't got around to sorting it.

The same joke was told on The Now Show on Friday.

You listen to Radio 4 as well

The Poweredge 840 will only work with a small number of graphics cards. The one @Arthur mentioned being the only one I found. As I only want the second monitor to view playback from Premier Pro, providing my solution using firewire will be fine. It should also give me a better feel for colours.

That's a shame, I've just popped into school because the SIMS backup has failed. I could have taken a snap for you. (I wonder if my replacement will go in over weekends for such things? Seven weeks and 3 days to go I'll do it on Monday.

The RAID controller is in the 1x8 and I've ordered a usb 3.0 to go in the 1x1. To be honest, that's a bit more than I want to spend and I think I have found a solution. I've bid for a Panasonic DVD player with IEEE1394 and I can feed the playback from Premier Pro into that. The TV in our bedroom has a dodgy Freeview tuner, so that can connect to the DVD recorder and we can get a nice new TV for the bedroom for the wife to watch her gardening programs in HD Now all I have to do is find a quieter fan.

I'm still struggling to get a second monitor on the Poweredge 840 because there's no way I can find to disable the onboard vga. So, I'm looking at a usb to vga adapter. Trouble is, the second monitor is to display video from the Premier Pro timeline, so I suspect a usb-vga converter is not going to handle the motion. I suppose I could switch the displays, so the onboard vga handles the display but I have heard that the converters can have an adverse affect on the existing output. Does anyone have any experience with this. Might usb 3.0 be the answer?

I used rain guttering from Screwfix. We have HP All in One desktops that have a external psu the size of a brick. Our walls are pretty old and needed a wooden batten to attach the gutter brackets. Nice cheap solution.

Don't be too down-hearted @Norphy. Dave can get anything.

That sounds good Dave but I've just done a bit of research and found that it's not easy to disable the onboard graphics on a Dell Poweredge 840. Seems some cards work but most prevent the computer from booting. I'd better investigate this first.

I'm in the process of building a computer for video editing. It has an integral ATI ES1000 chip but I would like a dual display. There is only a PCI-X slot left, which is a bit of a bummer and I'm running Windows Windows 7 Pro 64. I don't want to spend a lot of money, as my wife is moaning all ready! Can anyone recommend anything suitable please?

Went to trim the hedge and the battery is flat. I was sure I'd put it on charge, so I hope it's not knackered. Then I started scarifying the lawn but it's still a bit damp. So I'm going to have a cuppa and read my book for 30 minutes whilst the sun does its job.

Named after you? Went to Aldi, bought a load of stuff but forgot to get the one item I went for! I'm hoping for dry grass but it isn't looking promising.

Considering I only got around a third and people who invested big amounts got a lot less, the pot of money is quite large. I'd say in excess of 2 Billion. I guess the interest will go towards the Chairman's bonus!

I applied for £5000 of shares and got £1850's worth. I paid in the 5K on Monday and will be a due a refund of £3150, which I hope I will eventually get back. People who requested £40K only got around £2500s worth. So who gets the interest on all this money that is going to be refunded at some time and is sitting in an account somewhere?

Reported all three

You could always capitalise the "a" and have a really strong one... Damn back to my Ebay control panel.

I'm happy to report it if it offends but what category should I use? I've never reported a video before.
