Two of our schools are down including their backup lines (bit pointless). For such a huge outage I'm surprised there isn't more being made of it, i remember reading the pages upon pages about the Schools Broadband issues.

We are a MAT of 13 primary schools and I'm planning to redevelop our change management processes. For the other MATs out there, what does your process look like and how do you document requests and approvals? We aren't using ITIL or any other framework but realise we it's an area we need to improve. Appreciate any replies

On a slightly different topic, what happens with Win10 Enterprise? is that the same as Intune? How do you download the ISO or get the key?

I understand that side of it, but what about Intune licenses? Obviously there can and will be more devices than staff

Hi All, I'm just trying to get my head around Microsoft licensing I'm looking to purchase M365 for Faculty licenses and i'm then trying to work out what entitlement to Intune we would get. My reading so far tells me that; - A single M365 A3 for Faculty will give 40 student benefit licenses. (according to https://www.techdirectors.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/M365-A3-Overview.pdf) - I've also read that for each M365 A3 for Faculty license we will get 15MDM Intune Licenses (according to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/fundamentals/licenses-assign) My question is (presuming the above is correct): Do each of the 50 student benefit licenses also get 15MDM Intune licenses?

Content Filtering in Different Languages
nathan replied to nathan's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
It was more on the search terms that have been an issue -
Hi All, Quick query. we have a couple of schools working through the 360safe mark and had a query about website filtering in different languages. Is this meant to be a standard in website filtering, we operate a few different filters in both Sophos and Netsweeper but i'm not sure either of these will filter in different languages. Where i'm worried about is for schools with high EAL. What are anyone elses thoughts on this? am i being paranoid or is this a real issue?

I'm looking to use it in a Dynamic Group, not in powershell unfortunately.
-
Unfortunately assignedlicense isn't a valid property. How can something so simple be so hard.
-
Yes, they have confirmed it's in the development pipeline. Thats a hybrid infrastructure, not a pure azure ad which is what we are after
-
They do not sync group from Azure AD although apparently it's in the pipeline.
